1. The breakfast offered delicious butter tea and salmon, plus a complimentary M3 steak. 2. The afternoon tea included an engaging butter tea making experience. 3. I spent a whole afternoon in the afternoon tea restaurant, just relaxing and reading a magazine. 4. The hotel's second floor has several public areas perfect for enjoying tea and reading. 5. The room decor featured extensive use of solid wood, copper mirrors, and ******* rugs. 6. The hotel boasts four restaurants; we were lucky enough to see the full moon on the fifteenth day of the first ***** month from the lakeside restaurant – truly grateful for that experience. 7. On the way, we also visited an art exhibition featuring photography of ******* customs, culture, and natural scenery. 8. My only regret was not having time to swim or rent a bicycle to explore Dianchi Lake.

Excellent overall, though a few staff members could use more training. Most were very enthusiastic. We went for dinner at the Qunika restaurant only to find it was booked out by a tour group without any prior notice. Still, it was excellent overall.

This is an extended stay review from my previous booking. I originally booked two nights, and since I had such a great experience, I immediately canceled my next reservation and extended my stay at Songtsam for another night! 😀😀

Songtsam Linka Kunming truly embodies the profound essence of ******* culture, and the service consistently puts guests at ease. The hotel's interior design is exquisite; despite being in a city, it offers a serene and peaceful sanctuary. From the intricate decorative details to the attentive care from the staff, thoughtfulness is evident everywhere, making guests feel incredibly welcome. This stay was excellent, and I look forward to returning. Highly recommended.

The hotel boasts stunning architecture and gardens with tranquil courtyards and streams, and it's very close to Dianchi Lake. The rooms are spacious with high-quality furnishings and comfortable bedding. The butler service was excellent, making for a memorable check-in experience, and the complimentary afternoon tea was a nice bonus. Breakfast offers a good mix of Yunnan and ******* specialties. The on-site bookstore and art gallery featuring the founder's photography exhibition are worth a visit; they're very picturesque. Plus, self-parking is convenient.

This was my first time staying at a Songtsam hotel, and I absolutely loved the ambiance and service. The hotel's food was excellent, and the butler was very attentive. Definitely worth another visit.
