Good room, clean and comfortable. Our room was at the back so was very quiet and we slept well. Shower pressure was really good. Location was good once you manage to cross the highway infront (turn right when you come out and there's a crossing). Roof terrace is nice though beer prices were quite high for a hostel. Breakfast was good though some tea or coffee with it would have been nice. Overall a good stay.

BIG comfy bunks. Good Pub grub with Spacious patio garden option. Retro decor with genuine photos and memorabilia showcasing the Lido-Burma Rd and Flying Tigers.

Overall everything is very good, however, the breakfast only will start from 8.30am onwards, while I reached the restaurant at 8.30, the chef just started his preparation and foods available after 9am.

Perfect location.
Exactly at Jinbi Square. Near to shopping street.
For muslim, near to mosque and halal food.
No need to worry to find sovenir as you can find them easily near the hostel.
Enough plug point and the staff are helpful too.

Staff are friendly, helpful and accommodating. Easy access to many tourist destinations within Kunming. Short distance to the airport. The rooftop is a cool place to hang out at. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Kunming.

It’s a very cool hostel, super stylish and rooms a great.
Staff at reception was alright, some much more helpful than others.
Bar and rooftop are super enjoyable and well decorated.
Breakfast was good.
For those with kids/a bit older/or with respiratory issues: Only thing to note is that there is street food just down the hostel (which is awesome of course) but one of the truck is very very smoky, unfortunately it is just under the rooms looking down the street so impossible to open windows in the room because the smoke makes it difficult to breath. So it gets very warm in the room even in Autumn when we visited.
We gave a heads up to reception who told us that’s it’s a known issue.
Except this detail, everything else is pretty great.

best hostel i’ve ever been, really clean, the room and bed are bigs and clean
the bathroom and toilets are separated, with seated toilets
the shared spaces are really cool, with a bar, restaurant, with a rooftop and cozy things like a billard, cinéma, guitar
the location is really central too
definitely worth the price!
