Grand Park Kunming

This hotel is directly across from Cuihu Lake, just a few minutes' walk away. There's a great coffee shop called Lielie Qingzhuo nearby, as well as Chenxi Douhua Rice Noodle Shop. Since it's a tourist area, it can be a bit crowded, but staying at this hotel makes it super convenient to get anywhere. It offers excellent value for money and the service is also very good. I'd definitely stay here again!

The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic, and having parking in such a popular area is a huge bonus! The Military Academy, Wenlin Street, and various coffee shops are all nearby, so you can easily pop back to the hotel to rest whenever you get tired from walking. Popular local snacks can also be delivered directly to the hotel. The lake view room offers amazing scenery and is incredibly good value for money. The breakfast is exceptionally rich and delicious, and it starts at 6 AM, which is super convenient for early risers like me who need to catch an early bus. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Kunming.

In my opinion, this is the must-stay hotel near Cuihu Lake. It's a classic hotel with a superb location. Unfortunately, it's been open for a long time, so the facilities are a bit outdated. However, the hygiene is still up to par. If you don't mind older facilities, this is definitely the place to stay, and I don't recall many other new hotels around Cuihu Lake anyway. The breakfast is as delicious as ever, especially the variety of breads 🥯. The only minor issue was when I asked the chef at the noodle station for a bowl of rice noodles with less broth; he seemed a bit annoyed, perhaps due to the National Day crowds. When leaving, I bought some snowflake crisps again. The staff at the Western restaurant were very friendly, and the doorman was also nice. There were fewer bellhops, but their attitude was still good. The front desk was okay. I hope the hotel continues to improve, and I really wish they would update the facilities, otherwise, such a prime location goes to waste.

The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic, very close to Cuihu Park and the Former Site of the Yunnan Military Academy. The library is right across the street, and Kunming Old Street is within walking distance. There are tons of restaurants and snack shops nearby, and a Walmart is also very close. The hotel facilities are comprehensive, the rooms are spacious, clean, and tidy, and the staff are always responsive to requests. Breakfast is mainly Western-style, with a wide variety and high quality. We even received snowflake crisps and fruit upon check-in. The price is very reasonable, offering excellent value for money. Just one suggestion: the water pressure from the bathroom faucet is a bit low, making it a rush to wash up; this could use some improvement.

The hotel's location is superb, very close to Cuihu Park, making it convenient for dining and entertainment. The hotel also provides complimentary fruit daily. It was my birthday during my stay, and they thoughtfully sent a cake, which I really appreciated 🙏

Daguanyuan Park was the biggest surprise of my trip to Kunming. It really brought the concept of Chinese gardens to life for me. The hotel I chose this time was also excellent. It's across from a library and the Yunnan Military Academy, so it's got a rich cultural atmosphere. The front desk staff enthusiastically recommended local attractions, and the concierge even helped deliver my takeout. Zoey also suggested a great coffee shop.
