Yunyuan Lake House Collection Cultural Boutique (Dianchi Ethnic Village)

There weren't many staff members; the young lady seemed a bit overwhelmed. Everything else was fine, though. The location is convenient, close to Minority Park, making it easy to visit attractions and go shopping.

Booked this hotel with a friend. It's right by the north gate of the Yunnan Nationalities Village, next to Dianchi Lake, and super close to Haiyan Dam, Western Hills Cableway, Haigeng Park, and 1903 Mall. Lots of great food options, and even a Pop Mart! The environment is beautiful too. Will definitely come again!

The room was spotless and they even provided disposable towels and toilet seat covers, which was a great touch. We really loved the courtyard and the room's decor. Just as we were leaving, we ran into the owner's family and they kindly offered us Pu'er tea and a lovely chat. It was a very pleasant experience.

The courtyard is very quaint and charming, especially at dusk. Sitting by the lake in the backyard, feeling the breeze, watching the clouds and the sunset, all the day's fatigue just melts away. Waking up in the morning to the view of Chinese-style eaves and lush green leaves outside the window, I feel completely refreshed and ready to start a new day.

Extremely satisfied! The past few days, all I could say was how convenient everything was. The butler-style service was also excellent, they even helped with luggage. We come every year, and we'll definitely be back next year with mom!

This guesthouse has an elegant, vintage-inspired design that shows great taste and meticulous attention to detail everywhere, creating a wonderful ambiance. The biggest surprise was the cleanliness – the room was spotless, the bedding was clean and dry, the bathroom had no strange odors, and all the details were perfectly clean. The towels even came sealed in individual plastic bags, which made me feel very secure using them, and complimentary disposable towels and bath towels were also provided. The staff were attentive, prompt, and very enthusiastic. It was a comfortable and reassuring stay, a rare peaceful retreat during a trip. Highly recommended!

This is our second time staying at this hotel in Kunming, and both times we've chosen it for my elderly parents. It's incredibly convenient for visiting Dianchi Lake, and it's been recently renovated, looking even better than before with a charming, antique feel. It's very photogenic! The owner, front desk staff, and concierge were all incredibly helpful. The first room wasn't quite comfortable, so they immediately moved us to another. My parents have trouble sleeping, and they were very accommodating, switching us to a twin room. The owner even turned out to be from the same hometown as us and kindly offered free tea. We felt very at ease during our three-day stay. It's also convenient for visiting Shilin (Stone Forest). I highly recommend staying here for your travels.

This is a real gem of a place, quite charming and super clean. The service is great too. The owner is really friendly, we had tea and chatted, and he even showed us around the restaurant that's about to open, and his 'treasure trove' which has lots of cool old artifacts. It's definitely the best spot if you're visiting the Ethnic Culture Village. Parking is convenient, and it's easy to find shops and restaurants nearby. Highly recommend!
