City Comfort Inn (Kunming Nanping Pedestrian Street)

I rarely write reviews, but this hotel definitely deserves one. I came to Kunming for a marathon, and choosing a hotel with convenient transportation was a must. This City Express Hotel is perfectly located at the intersection of various transit points: the airport, train station, Kunming South Railway Station, Haigang Dam, and subway. The subway entrance is just over 200 meters away, making getting around super easy, and it's right at a commercial street intersection, so food options are abundant. Since I got back to the hotel around 12 PM after the marathon, I spoke with the front desk, and they kindly allowed a late checkout until 2 PM, which was really thoughtful! The hotel breakfast is on the fifth floor, and my room happened to be on the fifth floor too, so I just opened my door and took four steps to the restaurant – seriously, just four steps! 🤭 The breakfast was also quite varied. The hotel is quiet, and the beds are clean and comfortable. All in all, it was excellent. If I get the chance to visit Kunming again, I'll definitely stay here!
