The room is incredibly beautiful, the view is perfect onto the river and old town. Although communication was very limited due to language barrier the host still made sure we had his phone number in case and was very friendly and helped with the luggage, too. in front of the house they have chairs you can take to enjoy sitting at the riverside. The only downside is that the toilet and shower don’t offer much privacy - milky glass dooor and open to the top. still we strongly recommend this place!

Best hotel/homestay i’ve ever been to, it is located right in the main road of Zhouzhuang’s water town, we book a family room for 3 but when we check in the host even give us a extra room for free! And the view was spectacular! Overall 100/10 !

Had a wonderful stay here. The great wall is only a 5-minute walk, and the section of the wall here is very quiet (although very steep). Daniel and the rest of the staff were fantastic.

We rented two rooms for two couples. Amazing experience! Wonderful homestay. Very clean really helpful owner and staff. Constantly paying attention to our very need. Location is great. Right in the heart of Zhouzhuang. If you are a foreigner and want a genuine experience this is the place for you. Will return if need a relaxing break from the city.

The room was very clean. There was a problem with the toilet flushing, and the owner came to fix it immediately. The owner was also very good and picked us up at the place where we got off and took us to his place.

The room is very clean and is very close to the north gate entrance. It is easy to find. The waterfront homestay has a good environment. The owner also helped with the luggage. He was warm and thoughtful. I will come to Zhouzhuang next time.

It was a really great experience staying here. I loved it. The room was really clean and the facilities were all new. The owner was also very nice. He was afraid that we couldn't find it, so he personally went to the entrance to pick us up and helped carry our suitcases. We stayed in a room with a small courtyard on the first floor. The courtyard was very carefully decorated and very beautiful. The B&B is not far from the river, so it is very convenient to go out and play. It is not on the street and there is no noise. If I come here again, I will definitely book this B&B again.

I decided to go to Zhouzhuang on a whim and booked a hotel on the same day. Many hotels did not have suitable rooms. I thought about booking a homestay in the ancient town to experience the life of the locals, and chose this one after comprehensive comparison. The transportation is very convenient, clean and tidy, and the check-in is very efficient. The room is transparent from north to south, facing the busy road on one side and the small garden downstairs on the other. The service is responsive, not overly enthusiastic, but just right. The boss and his family are very polite and greet you every time you go in and out. There is also a primary school bully at home, who is still studying hard in the New Year. In short, it is a pretty good homestay. There is no need to compare the service with the big hotels. I came to the ancient town just to experience the life of the small town. The night view of Zhouzhuang is so beautiful. I will definitely come again next time when I have time.
