The room view was absolutely incredible! I saw a picture online of willows and a small river in front of the property and booked it immediately. The real-life view was even more stunning than I imagined! The owners were so kind; when we were sitting by the river at night enjoying the view, they came out and asked if we wanted mosquito repellent, and even brought us chairs and tea. When we checked out, they even gave us some local specialty 'sock-bottom crispy cakes'! My stay in Zhouzhuang was truly, truly wonderful!

Cute home stay run by a lovely couple. The owner found me wandering on the street and helped me to the room, he also carried my bag to the entrance for me when I left. They gave me a bag of snack when I left which was a nice touch! Room was clean and bed was comfortable.

The place is clean and tidy, with an excellent location. The owner is super nice and welcoming. They even helped us find a screw when our suitcase had a minor issue, really paying attention to the details. We'll definitely be back!

This little traditional inn was absolutely delightful 1 night stay and the host family could not have been more kind and helpful. The owner helped us get our bags to and from the inn as everything in this area is pedestrianised and no vehicle is available for transporting luggage. You must register for entrance into the historical zone at the main office before you try to enter the security gates by showing your ID as is the case with all things in China. Don't let this put you off. Smoking indoors is common so ask for smoke free treatment. Highly recommended.

We had a great stay, not only was the room very beautiful and with a great view, but also the owners and staff were the kindest and warmest people, always ready to help us out. We would highly recommend staying here, it wa the best!
