Kunshan Golden Eagle Shangmei Hotel

The room was very spacious and clean, truly offering a 270-degree floor-to-ceiling window view. The vista was excellent, and being on the 43rd floor, it was high enough to enjoy the night view with the curtains open without any concerns. The bathroom was exceptionally large, with two big sinks, making it very convenient for washing up. Breakfast was decent, with a good variety of dishes, enough to fill you up and satisfy. I also visited the gym, and it wasn't crowded at all. There's a mall downstairs, so shopping and dining are very convenient. Last year I stayed in a twin room, but I much preferred this room this time around. It also offered great value for money. A pleasant stay overall.

The hotel is located above the Jinying Commercial City. Parking is a big problem on weekends and holidays. There are several entrances, and when there are many cars, some entrances may be blocked, directing you to park on the ground level of Block B. This is inconvenient for reaching the hotel as you have to drive around more to wait for an opportunity to enter the underground parking. The hotel's underground parking is in Block A, and ground parking is limited. You can enter freely before 11 AM. Check-in is on the 29th floor. The room offers a nice city night view, and the room size is quite large. The wardrobe is well-designed and includes an ironing board, but there's no bathtub. Regarding hygiene, there was a hair at the bottom of the electric kettle, but otherwise, it looked clean. The staff greeted us when we encountered them. You can shop and dine downstairs, and there's a Starbucks in the lobby on the first floor. The location is convenient, and it's not far from Tinglin Park.

I booked this room for my in-laws for the Mid-Autumn Festival, and it was upgraded for free to a business king-size room. My in-laws were especially happy. The room was spacious and very clean. It included breakfast and dinner buffets. The dinner buffet had fresh Norwegian salmon, which my in-laws particularly loved – it was thickly sliced and succulent. There were also various other seafood options, steaks, and a wide array of fine wines and delicacies. Highly recommended!

Although the breakfast selection wasn't extensive, it was decent, and the dining environment was quiet. Overall, it was a good experience.

Upon check-in, I requested a high-floor room and was given a room on the highest floor, the 47th. The soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a quiet and restful environment; I didn't even hear the delivery robot arrive with my takeout. For business travelers, the spacious work area and stable internet connection in the room are perfect for getting work done. 💁 **Service & Staff** The service was excellent. All staff members were very nice, and my requests were always met. They were professional, efficient, and proactively helped with a room upgrade and late check-out. Although there was a small issue with the phone line, it was promptly resolved. I even received a gift upon check-out. 📍 **Location & Transportation** The hotel is located in the heart of Kunshan's CBD, with direct access to the Golden Eagle Shopping Center from the 9th floor, offering a one-stop solution for dining, entertainment, and even business banquets. In terms of transportation, it's only about 2 km from Kunshan Station, making it convenient to travel to Shanghai and Suzhou. This is very friendly for both business travelers and tourists.

Huge thanks to all the staff for their help! The wedding room was outstanding. A staff member proactively helped us with our luggage, pushing the cart and pressing the elevator multiple times! The lobby manager coordinated everything for the wedding car and special requests for the wedding room setup, and the entire process was incredibly smooth! We had a very pleasant stay!

I came to Kunshan for a two-day weekend getaway. The front desk helped me upgrade my room, which was on a high floor with a great view and very quiet. Facilities: Although the hotel has been open for a few years, the facilities are well-maintained. The bathrooms are all Kohler, and the toilet seats have a bidet function (but no drying). The TV doesn't have screen mirroring, but the hotel said they are currently replacing the TVs with ones that can mirror, so it should be available next time I visit. Breakfast: Very plentiful. The chive pancakes, fried dumplings, and egg rolls were all excellent, and there were substantial dishes like beef brisket and pork ribs. For freshly cooked items, only noodles were available, no wontons, which I suggest adding. The breakfast restaurant on the 29th floor has a great view. Service: They did a nice simple setup for our anniversary. They also provided a complimentary first round from the mini-bar and extended our check-out time to 3:30 PM, which was very thoughtful.
