Crowne Plaza KUNSHAN by IHG

I stayed at this hotel in Kunshan while traveling to Wuxi. The room was clean and the front desk staff were warm and attentive, but overall, my stay was just average. First, the security staff lacked service awareness. When I arrived, I had an urgent need and briefly stopped in the lobby. Even after explaining the urgency, I was still blocked by the security guard. Second, the surrounding environment was noisy, mainly due to road construction on the east side. There was drilling noise as early as 6 AM, which was clearly audible in the room. Third, the breakfast service couldn't keep up. Due to a large conference at the hotel that day, there were many people, and some dishes were not replenished in time.

Stayed for two days with my baby, and the hotel was great with its swimming pool and excellent kids' play area. There's also a mall nearby with plenty of food and entertainment options.

The pool and playground are fantastic! It's perfect for families with kids – you can easily spend a whole day at the hotel, giving parents a well-deserved break. The beds are super spacious too! A special shout-out to Zhu Zhenyuan; I needed iodine late at night and it was brought to me immediately, along with several bottles of water. Much appreciated!

Overall, the Crowne Plaza Kunshan is pretty good. The hotel is connected to Jiufang City, making it super convenient for dining, entertainment, and shopping. The indoor pool is large and impressive, and the infinity edge is perfect for some beautiful photos 🏊🏻‍♀️🏊🏻‍♀️. The hotel decor also looks very grand.

Visited with my daughter during the May Day holiday and stayed in the Octonauts-themed family room. My daughter absolutely loved it! The room was clean, and the breakfast selection was plentiful. We went around 9 AM and it wasn't crowded at all. The kids' play area was a bit small, but still perfectly fine for a five-year-old. We'll definitely stay here again next time.

This is my second stay at the Crowne Plaza Kunshan, and it's fantastic! It offers incredible value for money, and the location is excellent. There's a direct corridor from the hotel to Jiufang City, which makes dining and shopping super convenient. The hotel staff are also very welcoming and friendly. I really like the decor style too. All in all, I'll definitely be staying here again next time I'm in Kunshan.

Everything was good, especially when I needed a few disposable cups from room service late at night, Master Zhu delivered them right away. They also called to check on me even when I had the 'Do Not Disturb' sign on, which was very professional. The only minor drawback was on the first night, around 9 PM on the 8th. The security guard at the entrance saw my car but didn't help open the door, let alone help with my luggage or carry my suitcase to the lobby. I had to do everything myself for a few minutes. I've stayed here before on weekdays and it's usually fine. When I checked in that day, I noticed the same guard doing the same thing to other guests getting out of their cars – pretending to walk very slowly, waiting for the guests to carry their own bags, and then pretending to go over. It felt quite unprofessional. Later that night, around 10 PM, within an hour of my arrival, I came back after buying some things and got out of a taxi. The security guard with glasses was very thoughtful and opened the door for me. When I checked out and took a taxi, the security guard at the door was also very helpful with my luggage and opened the door. It's not that I'm being targeted, it's just that the guard on the first day pretended to walk slowly with several guests, and it truly felt a bit unprofessional. Just a small suggestion for improvement; everything else was great, from the front desk to the cleaning staff, and even Master Zhu from housekeeping who I've encountered over the years – everyone is wonderful and genuinely caring.

I've stayed at this hotel many times before, and this time I felt that the service has improved even further. Xiao Chen, in particular, was incredibly attentive, from various reminders before check-in to her thoughtful care before we left. It truly felt like having a personal butler.
