The Reef House Adults Retreat

This was our sixth time at the beautiful reef house. We come here to “flop and drop” as it is a perfect getaway from our daily life. The no child policy is very appealing, the staff are young but enthusiastic and genuinely seem to enjoy what they do. The inclusions such as cocktail classes and Wine appreciation is also appealing. I’m the bed! My husband and I have never slept so well and he said that I didn’t snore so the pillows must also be good. So good in fact, we’re looking at buying one!

The Reef House is a little piece of history in paradise! The staff all so accommodating. Our second visit and just can’t wait to go back.

We had a few special occasions to celebrate, and this destination proved to be the perfect choice. Although we had originally planned to explore Cairns, the moment we arrived we knew we didn’t want to leave. Our days unfolded effortlessly—yoga in the mornings, walks and bike rides, indulgent facials, wine appreciation and cocktail classes, swims in the two pools, relaxing with a book, and fantastic conversations with fellow guests. The staff were exceptional—always warm, attentive, and eager to make our stay memorable. Truly, there was nothing we would have changed. We left already dreaming of a return visit and are especially keen to experience Mt. Lofty and Sequoia next time.

We had a wonderful stay at The Reef House. They organised everything for us from tours to transport and an early breakfast box. Our special 3 course meal was magnificent, I would return just for the saltwater barramundi alone. Breakfast was yum. The inclusion were great fun, the cocktail workshop, wine appreciated, sorbet poolside and punch and canapés were terrific. Our room was beautiful with the aromatherapy burner operating all our stay. The mineral pool was fabulous along with the pool service made us feel special. The staff were friendly and attentive. Thank you for our gifts, water bottles, caps and the reef house book. Looking forward to coming back.

My wife and I spent 7 fabulous nights at the Reef House Adults Retreat last week August 16-23. It was a pure accommodation experience. From the Tropical gardens and two pools to the magical dinning area futuring giant Maleluka trees towerng through the floor. The entire restaurant team was wonderful. A welcoming smile each morning from the waiter staff and the first class chefs turn out stella meals from breakfast to fine dining dinners. Oh and how can we forget the included Seafood Platter. Housekeeping kept our room beautifully presented each day for that true premium stay feel. The couples massage we also had was AAA+, in a peaceful tranquil setting I could go on and on, but I won't. For a true, first class FNQ accommodation experience, you cannot go past the Reef House. Total relaxing premium Adults Holiday.
