Dormy Inn Kurashiki is a gem! This cozy hotel in the heart of Kurashiki offers comfy rooms, hot spring baths, and a prime location just next to the historic quarter. The staff is super friendly. It's the perfect spot for a delightful stay in Kurashiki!

Very good hotel with a lot of services like onsen on rooftop and free ramen at night. Standard japanese rooms but confortable.

A typical Dormy Inn with good spa, evening noodle ice cream and in particular good service. When I checked out, the front desk staff went to outside of the hotel to try to get me a taxi. Is right at the tourist spot but not within walking distance to the station ( less than ¥500 by taxi ). If you like Dormy Inn, this one would not disappoint you. Also the spa clam to be able to heal a lot of diseases. Hope is right.

We are traveling by car. We can park our car in the parking lot behind the hotel for 700 yen per day. It is flatter than the parking lot provided by the hotel. The hotel is in an excellent location and is convenient to go anywhere.

There's only one traffic light to the Bikan Historical Quarter, so it's really convenient for sightseeing. We were able to take a rest and sightsee in the Bikan Historical Quarter many times. The hot spring, which is a selling point, was bigger than expected, so my son and I took a leisurely bath twice. The breakfast was a little disappointing, considering the good reviews. There were few dishes and not many of the children's favorites on the menu, so the children seemed to be less satisfied.

When I came back in the afternoon, my luggage had been put into the room for us. Feel the exquisite Japanese service. It is highly recommended to stay at this hotel when traveling to Kurashiki. The room price on weekdays is not expensive and it is worth it.

Note to motorists: We arrived at dusk on the weekend and the hotel parking spaces were full. A staff member pointed out nearby parking lots. Fortunately, there are still parking spaces in the parking lot at the front entrance of the hotel. Charges are charged every 20 minutes. There is no maximum fee due to weekends. We will check nearby parking after dinner. The venue was fully booked, so thankfully we were able to solve the problem with limited parking fees. Experience really has to be accumulated. The hotel itself is a group-style operation that is positive in all aspects. Although it is a bit old, I personally think it is still good at this price. It is only across the road from the beautiful area, which is very convenient. You can visit it in the morning when there are fewer tourists.
