"We stayed for two nights. The hotel offers free parking, and its location was very easy to find. A truly thoughtful touch was the availability of umbrellas for guests; their vibrant colors really helped brighten up a rainy day. For female guests, more powerful hair dryers are also available for loan, although these are limited and on a first-come, first-served basis."

"The hotel's location is quite good; it's about 700-800 meters straight ahead from Kurakichi Station. There's a food court across the street with many choices, and a very good ramen shop on the street—I forgot the name, but see the last two pictures for the interior. Breakfast is expensive, which I personally think is unnecessary, but there are almost no breakfast options around here except convenience stores (so we ate rice balls/bento boxes/milk tea/yogurt from the convenience store, and they were just as good). It's more convenient to take a bus from Kurakichi Station to Tottori-Hokuei-cho, but unfortunately we missed it and had to take a taxi for 3700 yen. We returned from Yura Station (Conan Station, which is also a tourist attraction) to Kurakichi. The hotel also offers a small onsen (hot spring), which was a pleasant surprise (see picture three). There were two problems with this hotel: 1. The toilet seat was scalding hot even in summer, so we had to unplug it to use it properly; 2. They wouldn't provide an extra bed, tatami mats, or even extra bedding for us (two adults and two children), which was quite unpleasant."

Kurayoshi Town Hotel ★★

"The hotel is split into two separate hotels, so if you go to the address given on Trip, no one will be there to receive you. You will have to call them, and they will tell you to cross the street to get your key. The door handle was also broken. Everything was okay after that."
