Mayai is like heaven on earth! Fantastic rooms, with nice bath amenities. Aircon and balcony. Clean swimmingpools, enough sunchairs by the pool and on the beach. Very good breakfast with fresh fruit and juice, truely a perfect way to start the day. Very friendly and service minded staff - I highly recommend Mayai for a perfect holiday!

Very nice and safe hotel on the Bewjuu beachfront. We had a spacious suite with big balcony and ocean view. Clean swimmingpools, numerous sunbeds both on the beach and by the pool. Great breakfast where there’s a lot to choose from. A good place for a perfect holiday!

Everything was beyond perfect, staff was very friendly and helpful, restaurant was great and many varieties of food and drink, the entire hotel was extremely clean and well kept. Huge thank you to all who made our trip very special! Definitely would come back

We had the pleasure of staying at this charming small resort for the past three days and all I can say is it was THE perfect place to enjoy Zanzibar. Maiya Ocean resort is quite new and the restaurant and grounds are spotless. The food was amazing and so very reasonable especially when you consider the quality and portion size. The vibe at the restaurant and lounge area is just what I hoped for. Fresh, stylish, comfortable and there are games and puzzles and such to while away the afternoons. Jazz plays at breakfast and there is great music gently playing in the background the rest of the day. The pools are warm and clean. The rooms are basic but spotless and the service is beyond measure. Everyone is friendly and polite and not remotely pushy at all. Honestly I could not have asked for a better place to unwind after two weeks in safari. It’s a lovely and safe stroll up to the busier area around Paje but if you don’t want the typical all inclusive resort feel, I can’t recommend this gem enough. Oh and the price point is amazing!!

This Resort gave us a perfect vaccation. The Beach is beautiful, the breakfast and all the other meals we eat at the restaurant tasted wonderful and the Staff are so welcoming and helpful. The room we slept in had all we needed. Water bottles (that they filler up with every day), aircondition, roof fan and comfteble beds. We Will Come back🥰

We stayed here for 3 days and had a great time. Very good restaurant, good coffee and drinks. The rooms where cool and clean. Loved the chill vibes from morning jazz during breakfast to the lounge vibes in the afternoon. And the location on the beach was absolutely stunning. We will definitely be back another time.

What an incredible place to stay , everything was amazing from the staff, food , rooms amazing with full time hot water. What a beautiful place I would recommend everyone visiting Zanzibar . Great place
