Can there be a more beautifully situated hostel anywhere in the UK? A lovely spot. Very well equipped kitchen, spacious lounge and dining room and comfortable beds perfect for a kip after a hill day. Staff are super friendly and helpful. One of the loveliest hostels I've stayed in

Stopped in here as our first bed on the CWT, the beds where incredibly fluffy, the showers were warm and the free tea tasted beautiful (not to mention the ciders). The lady working here was lovely. They also agreed to hold a food parcel for us, which was fantastic! Although would say the food was slightly overpriced for what it was, but we were so hungry it really hit the spot.

Great wee hostel, nice and clean, warm and dry; and the most helpful warden - ever! The optional breakfast was basic but very good quality and excellent value for money. Takes me back to what hosteling was all about (minus the chores )

Great facilities and John, the manager, was really helpful and so knowledgeable about the hills in the local area. A perfect haven and base. Can’t believe it’s taken me so long to stay and I’ll definitely be back!

I stayed here for a night with my husband after last having been to this hostel in the late 80's. The hostel is in a great location and has a really nice common room. The kitchen is also quite good and handy, since there is not much nearby for eating out. The warden was really welcoming and we both enjoyed our stay. We went for a walk to a broch at the end of the street, which I can recommend. Not only is the broch in quite a good condition, but you also get a nice view of Eilean Donan Castle and some seals, if you are lucky.
