What wonderful and glorious place to stay. The chalet was immaculately finished to such a hight standard. An excellent bathroom / showroom. A little functional kitchen area with fridge, kettle, coffee machine, Charger ports. A large VERY comfortable bed with lovely bedding. A small TV which isn't really required when you gave the view through the sliding patio doors. Over the small green space onto the gravel beach, Lock and stunning mountains of Skye. A truly idyllic spot. If you're looking for serenity, a calm and peaceful place, surrounded by the magnificence of nature, Water and Mountains this is the place. I went for an early 6.30 walk on the beach and I've never been in such a lovely , calm, serene and unspoilt place. The chalet was excellent, the owners a lovely , friendly, polite and helpful couple. I have 2 recommendations. 1) book a stay , now 2) call ahead the day before if you require an evening meal from the friendly pub close by which can be unexpectedly busy. ( I don't know where the people came from as the area is so quiet) The simple breakfast provided was great, pastries, scones, porridge, fruit, oranges juice and milk for a selection of cereals, very well thought through and made available. All in all........top drawer amazing, 5 stars, highly recommend

An outstanding location, beautiful room, stunning views, very warm welcome. We stayed here for one night before a hillwalking trip to Knoydart. Rebecca and Ian were most welcoming and lovely company explaining everything we needed to know. The room was absolutely amazing with everything you could wish for and the highest quality but so comfortable and relaxing. Wonderful welcome pack and breakfast and so cosy and comfortable. The view is absolutely beautiful. Great parking and the excellent Glenelg Hotel next door! I cannot praise this place enough and our sincere thanks to Rebecca and Ian for the wonderful hospitality and experience.

Immaculate room with stunning views. The owners are lovely. It’s next door to the Glenelg Inn, a proper pub with good food. The Brochs are just up the road, as is the local brewery which brews several decent beers. We were there 2 nights and managed to get half way up Skye and round to Plockton. Eilean Donan castle is only a short drive.

Excellent place to stay. We had a great time for the two nights we spent there. Rebeca and Iain greeted us when we arrived and were very helpful and informative about the area. The cottage was beautiful, clean and had wonderful view of the loch. Would recommend this accommodation to anyone.

We had a great stay here and would thoroughly recommend it. It's an adventure to reach via the single track road but the location is stunning! The accommodation was excellent as was the continental breakfast that was provided in our room. Iain and Rebecca were the perfect hosts. We had dinner at the Glenelg Inn which is just a couple of minutes stroll away and were so glad we'd booked as it was very busy. The next morning we drove 10 minutes along the coast to take the ferry to Skye. It's only a short trip but made a great alternative to driving over the bridge.

Gorgeous location right on the shore of the bay. Stunning drive on single track roads to arrive. Perfect start to visit Isle of Skye with the Glenelg ferry. New modern and very comfortable room and amenities. Rebecca and Iain were amazing hosts, and shared some key tips to make our trip that much better. One of the very best places I have stayed in many decades of travels at hundreded of hotels.

We weren't really sure what to expect but Kirkton Bay certainly exceeded all hopes. After a long trip along a single track road over the mountains from the Kyle of Lochalsh Road we drove into the car park and were met by the owners (a very nice couple). We took one look at the view and were hooked. The room was small but very comfortable. We never looked at the TV as the view from the front was all we needed. The provided breakfast was delicious. We were recommended to book dinner at the Glenelg Hotel next door which was also excellent

Awesome place to stay. Stylish well designed room with ensuite, impeccably neat. The room is situated a stone's throw from a bay running off the inlet to Kyle Rhea, the strait separating the Isle of Skye from the Scottish mainland. A short and convenient walk to Glenelg Inn which includes a pub and restaurant, but far enough away from the Inn to be serene and quiet. Lovely close bay views. Bookings advised for the Inn . The owners, Rebecca and Ian, are delightful and customer friendly. Breakfast also available at the Inn. Certainly recommended as great value for money.
