APA Properties in Kyoto

I stayed here on a business trip to Kansai. It's conveniently located within a 5-10 minute walk from Kyoto Station. There's a 7-Eleven next to the hotel, so I had no trouble finding anything. The rooms were clean, maintaining the usual ”APA” quality. The hotel also comes equipped with a large communal bath, open-air bath, and sauna, which was perfect for relieving the fatigue of a business trip. Recently, perhaps due to the July 5th prophecy, there has been a decrease in the number of foreign visitors, and hotel rates in Osaka and Kyoto have all become cheaper, which is very helpful for business travelers.

Location is great, just 200 metres from Kyoto Station. Room is nicely decorated and has adequate space, bed is higher to enable luggage to be stored underneath. Toilet is a bit too small and uncomfortable for tall people. Decent breakfast for 1800 Yen, purchase voucher from reception. Cleaning of room is only after 3 days’ stay. Towels are given daily. Wish they cleared rubbish more often!

We stayed for three nights and really loved the location as we could get everywhere very easily. Be mindful that the room is extremely small though

３日目Wi-Fiが、使えなくなり残念でした。

It was nice to have a lot of restaurants, cafes and gift shops around Gion Street and Cheongsu Love. It is also close to the station. The room is not spacious like a Japanese accommodation, but it is good to sleep for a day. And all the amenities were in place.

I was generally satisfied except that the front desk was narrow. Access from the station is good. I would like to use it again.
