Sakuraya･Takada Kyoto Station Japanese Style Villa

A truly wonderful B&B! We had a very comfortable stay, and the host was incredibly friendly. We'd definitely come back again if we get the chance! 😄

The transportation is quite convenient, with several bus stops nearby that offer direct routes to tourist attractions. I tried the dumpling restaurant and it was delicious and affordable. The host was very helpful and responsive to all my questions. Overall, the service was excellent! 👍

The room was spotless, and the host's directions were clear and easy to follow. Public transport is conveniently located nearby, making it easy to get around. There are four bicycles available for free use; although we didn't use them this time, it's a great option for future family trips. Upstairs, there are two bedrooms, perfect for friends traveling together or a family with children. Downstairs, there's a dining room and a small tea room, ideal for relaxing and taking photos! Overall, it was excellent, and I'm considering staying here again for our next family vacation.

Since we had a large group, the guesthouse was spacious and convenient. We bought a lot of food so we could cook at home. The house was fully equipped, and there was even a tea room where we could drink tea and chat. The owner's service was very attentive; they sent us a check-in guide beforehand and thoughtfully recommended nearby supermarkets. There were bicycles available right outside the house, so we could ride along the Kamo River 🚴 – the scenery was amazing.

When visiting Kyoto, staying in a B&B is a good choice. It would be great if you could stay a few more days to slowly experience the life of Kyoto people. However, as someone who is used to the heating in the north, I was depressed when I first entered the house because of the cold weather in Kyoto, which was similar to the cold in the south of China. Fortunately, the air conditioner was powerful enough for heating. It would be better if the landlord could turn on the air conditioner a while before moving in. Everything else was just as other guests commented, very good. We also experienced cycling, but if you don’t exercise regularly, I suggest you don’t ride too far, it’s really painful~

My friends and I were traveling with our kids. We booked this B&B and that B&B in Toji at the same time. Three families happened to live in two rooms, so the kids could stay together. It's run by the same Chinese. I added WeChat in advance. The service was very attentive and they even helped me make a reservation for the famous local roasted bird restaurant!

The host was very considerate and provided a lot of useful information. It was a great trip. The room is clean and you can make some simple food. I will choose here again next time I come to Kyoto
