Can’t say enough good things about this hotel. The location is OUTSTANDING, and right next to a train station for easy access to the Shinkansen. The beds are the most comfortable I had in Japan, and the pillows excellent, so I slept wonderfully every night. The rooms are rather large also, by Japan standards. Easy access to thermostat and you can open the windows. Top notch!

Given the great location and super good value for money I had fairly low expectations for the hotel itself however we were pleasantly surprised. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. Comfortable pillows provided, split system air con, fridge etc. Basic lobby/reception area. A central location to use as a base for exploring.

Great area, close to the train station, 20minute walk to Nishiki market.
Room is ok-sized. There is Japanese style bath, but no seat/chair for the shower. Heater does not work

A great little place to stay in Gion, staff were very attentive and approachable and spoke English which helped me as my Japanese was very limited. Great area, we could get buses to Kyoto station frequently and then go out from there to all the sites. Family mart close by for lunch and dinners if you did not wish to dine out. Loved our stay.

We arrived at the property after 2 days of flying and we couldn’t stop raving about the service, the rooms and the bedding. We thought we were sleeping on a cloud! Great location! Amazing restaurants next door! Domo Arigato Gozaimasu!

Great location, very accessible to different transportation options. It's also within walkable distance to a key areas. The room itself is pretty straightforward with refillable basic amenities. The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff is excellent.

Great location and very nice and helpful staff. The minus was that the room had a window with a wall 20 can in front of it so more or less no daylight.
