Located just ten minutes of a walk away from the metro station, the connections are great. Higashiyama is the perfect base to explore many famous Kyoto cultural destinations. I enjoyed the terrace a lot. The room was clean, comfy and quite big, all in all 10/10.

The location is quite far from any nearest metro or subway so you have to walk a lot. But the service is good, there is no lift available but the hotel wait for us and took our bag into second floor, which we really appreciated. The room is hugeee! And amenities is good as well. We have pyjamas set and it was so nice and comfy!

Fabulous hotel in a quiet part of town, near a subway to get everywhere! Loved our stay. Rooftop balcony is delightful.

It is the beatiful part of Kyoto: two steps from temples and mountains, and the key touristic central parts are also in 15-20 minutes. The room was so beatiful, combining contemporary things with materiality of things in the room.

I had a very comfortable stay. Although there was some noise from cars outside despite the double-paned windows, it didn't bother me too much, and I couldn't hear any voices from other rooms, which I found very relaxing. The room itself was stylish, and the small sink-like vanity inside was very convenient! Best of all, the bathroom was spacious and even had a separate washing area (though there was no chair or washbasin), so I was able to relax and soak in the bathtub. The king-size bed was comfortable, but because it was built into the floor, my toes got caught in the gap between the bed and the floor, which hurt a little. That was the only downside, but I would like to stay there again if I have the opportunity. I was initially worried about the lack of staff on duty, but you can enter even late at night using a passcode.

The hotel is perfectly located. Several metro stations are nearby. A stunning temple and bamboo grove are within walking distance. The room is very stylish. There's no closet, so there's nowhere to put your things—you just have to store them in your suitcase. The table is too small for two people to sit at, but that's okay. The mattresses are on the floor; there are no beds. There's a decent cafe on the ground floor, and the food is delicious. There's also a microwave, so you can warm up your food.

The hotel is recommendable because the room had everything one could need, such as pajamas, etc. However, there was no readily available service on site, as the hotel services are only present during certain hours.

On the first day of my stay, I didn't know how to use the air conditioner, so a staff member came over and kindly helped me. The shower had good hot water and there was a bathtub so I could relax. The value for money was good, it was clean, and I had a comfortable stay. I would like to use it again. It would have been nice if there was an elevator.

Great location, stylish interior, and attention to detail. The room even included pajamas, which was especially helpful in late November.

Spacious, well-equipped, and modern room! The hotel is well-located. The staff was very helpful (they stored our luggage and carried it up to our room before check-in). I recommend it.

The proximity to temples like Nanzenji and Chion-in gave us plenty of time to prepare for the next day. It was also reasonably priced for Kyoto, which was great.

It's about a 10-minute walk from the nearest station, and conveniently located near a Lawson convenience store. However, staff aren't always at the counter. There are three phone numbers listed on the counter, but the last person who called answered.

A wonderful, cozy hotel! The only staff member we saw was the girl who checked us in, and she was very polite and pleasant. We stayed for one night. They have everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and we really enjoyed it! We highly recommend it! 😊

The restaurant was great overall, but it's a bit far from the city center.
