convenient location, kind staff, clean rooms

Fantastic place. Very cleans and brilliant staff. Little bit of a walk from the nearest metro, but don’t let that put you off. Couldn’t recommend it enough!

Nice guesthouse, staff is very friendly, breakfast is good too. The nearest metro station is about 15-20 minutes walk, but there’s bus stops. Lawson 5 minutes away from the guesthouse. Enjoyed my stay there

The room was very clean. I stayed in a bunk bed for four people. Free bread, fruit, juice and yogurt were provided for breakfast. The boss and his wife were also very nice. There were many foreigners staying here. Everyone was very polite and well-mannered. I will consider staying here again next time.

The boss and reception staff are very kind! Both Chinese and English can be used to ask questions. Toast, milk, juice, soy milk, fruit, and yogurt are provided for free for breakfast. You can also add 800 yen for a partial set breakfast. If you stay for multiple days, you can coordinate when the bed will be cleaned. Free toiletries and heating packs are provided, as well as free tea! Both the boss and the store staff can ask questions about attractions, and the boss will also proactively recommend them🤣 There are many shared toilets and washrooms.

As long as they were in the public area, the boss chatted with the guests every day, cared about how their day went, and gave suggestions if the guests needed anything. I went there during the maple leaf season, and the several spots recommended by the boss were great. In addition to breakfast, the boss also prepared snacks and even warm baby that can be used at any time, which is very considerate. The grilled fish breakfast at the boss's house is freshly grilled, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and it is delicious. I recommend it. One day when I came back, I met a little sister who dropped her bag on the bus. She was very anxious. The front desk lady actively helped to call the bus company. The boss and the boss's wife rushed to the store as soon as they knew about it. Finally, the bus company said that they had found it and asked the little sister to pick it up. The boss and the boss's wife drove the little sister to pick it up. Great praise! This kind of shop is very safe to live in. I also ate the soup that the boss cooks once a year, which is delicious! The staff inside are also very enthusiastic and friendly. They are willing to help when there are difficulties. I will go there again if I have the chance.

Take a bus from Kyoto Station to Dambamachi Station. There is a convenience store at the intersection, and then go uphill for 200 meters. Facilities: I stayed in a single room with a public bathroom. The bathroom and toilet were separated and it felt clean. There was a coin-operated washing machine on the rooftop, so you can wash and dry directly on the rooftop. Hygiene: The room was very clean and tidy. Service: The landlord can speak Mandarin and Cantonese, and the free breakfast has all kinds of fruits, yogurt, bread, and drinks; it is very suitable for me who travels alone
