A modest but tasty breakfast. Relatively good location, close to 7/11 and a bus stop. If you walk a little further (which I didn't always have the energy to do), there is a metro station. Good service and atmosphere, I will recommend it to my friends and I think I will stay at this hotel again next year.

It was a truly enjoyable experience staying at Amanek Kyoto. The location is very strategic, quite close to the train station and the hotel environment is quiet and comfortable. We will definitely stay here again if we ever visit Kyoto 😊

Hotel facilities are beautiful and clean. The location is good, near famous attractions.

The room is small. Not fit for three. No place to keep your luggages inside the room. The staff are accommodating. There is a lounge to stay in the night.

Really convenient hotel, 7/11 is just right beside the hotel and there is 23hours restaurant in front of the hotel. 10 minutes walk to downtown.

Many reviews complained about the size of the room but my family and I liked it though. We got a triple bed room and felt that it was cosy and that the space, while limited, was sufficient. There was a coat hanger space, wall bars to hang more coats/towels and there was space for us to open our luggage as well. Was a comfortable stay and we wouldn't mind going there again if we revisit Kyoto. The staff were friendly and efficient and they made the place feel welcoming!

Location is good. Staff are helpful. The room is not spacious but up to Japanese standard.

A good location for tourist who love to enjoy the city.

Overall, my stay was quite pleasant, especially impressed by the front desk service and amenities. The front desk staff even offered assistance in Chinese, which was a nice touch. My only minor complaint would be the room size – it was a bit on the smaller side.

No space at all… No room service… No water… No wardrobe… And finally the worst breakfast I’ve ever eaten… Do not recommend

Amazing stay!! The hotel comes with many amenities such as onsen! The staffs were accommodating and nice too! Will recommend to others!!

This hotel will be in my "not to go" list. Cons: Dusty, the room TV, kettle, fridge, shelves, all are very dusty. The door hindge is loose.. it feels like the door may anytime drop. Cramp, it is really small room. It's smaller than a lot of other Japanese hotels. Breakfast is very simple, and they only serve a specific quantity. Once they finish, even if it's still early, they will say, "Sold out." Amenities are very basic. I needed an extra pillow, but they don't provide. Washing machine only has 3. Pros: The location is not bad. Service staff is not that bad. The toilet and shower are separated. They allow us to use the restaurant tables and chairs to rest or have our food when we buy back. They offer free flow of soft drinks from 5pm to 8pm. Overall, I won't stay again. The main thing is the dust, too dusty. For the same price I can stay in other hotels with similar location but of course I don't know if they are better than this.

Wonderful hotel and excellent service. The hotel staff is very friendly and eager to help. The room had everything I needed. The hotel is close to many bus stops, train stations and sights.  Highly recommend.

We got triple room for 2 people. 3 fixed beds cannot be moved to open space in the room, the rest is fine! Recommended.
