You can do laundry for free.

Single room is too small room and the design of the room is not optimizing the small space. If you have large suitcase, you have to put it at the entrance which will either block the entrance door or the toilet door. You will need to keep moving your suitcase to open one of that doors (they don’t allow you to put your suitcase on tatami mat). But well, that is something I can still tolerate despite the room rate is not that cheap. The only thing I cannot tolerate is the staff being inconsiderate and not allowing me to spend max of 5 mins to perform my prayer after checking out (I asked whether I can use their laundry room, they said no and not giving any other alternative at all). There was not many guest at that time (around 3pm) so chances of them using the laundry room is zero. Other hotel/hostel that I have stayed before are fine with it so this is my first time experiencing this. If I know they are that inconsidered, I would have dropped by kyoto tower and perform my prayer first before collecting my luggage. Don't book this in the summer! Don't book! Don't book! The air conditioner doesn't cool, only blows air. On the first day, it was 34 degrees outside and 32 degrees inside. I approached the staff, and they said the air conditioner was working fine and it would cool down after a while. They were sweating profusely while they were talking! I asked to change rooms, and the other rooms were the same! Only the air conditioner at the front desk was so strong it was freezing!

Located near Gojo Bridge in Kyoto, it's about a 30-meter walk from the private railway station. I stayed here for five days at an exceptionally low price for Kyoto, as found on Trip.com. As it's a business hotel, the rooms aren't particularly spacious, but they have bathtubs and are perfectly adequate for sleeping. The second-floor lounge offers complimentary soft drinks in the evenings. They also offer carbonated drinks and vegetable juices, ideal for those who don't like sweets. Next to the lounge are four washing machines and dryers, which are free to use (detergent costs 50 yen). From the hotel, you can easily walk to Kiyomizu-dera Temple and Higashiyama. Many foreign tourists visit, and the front desk offers translation services in various languages. The elevators are keycard-operated, ensuring safety. The entrance is set back from the road, making it difficult for non-guests to enter, which is a plus. There's a convenience store next door. There's a Nakau restaurant across the bridge, which is convenient for budget travelers. The front desk staff were friendly, and I felt it was well worth the price.

The hotel was well-equipped and very clean. Breakfast was a bit limited. For a hotel in a tourist area, the price was acceptable, especially considering the private bathroom. What more could you ask for? It's a 20-minute walk from Kiyomizu-dera Temple.

The tatami room is larger than the one in Osaka. Toiletries are available downstairs. It is a bit far from the Karasuma Line if you want to go out. It is right next to the train from Osaka, but the bus is convenient. Overall, it is good.

The staff were kind, and I was very satisfied in every aspect. If I go to Kyoto again, I would like to visit again.

I stayed alone in a Japanese Standard Room. Half of the room is tatami space, so you may forget to take off your shoes, so it's convenient to bring disposable slippers as amenity. I heard that it was about a 30-minute walk to Kiyomizu-dera Temple, so I left the hotel around 7:00 and went sightseeing there. The shops were not open yet, so I couldn't look at souvenirs or buy snacks, but there were only a few tourists, so I was able to enjoy sightseeing at my own pace. On the way back around 8:30, the number of tourists started to increase, so I recommend going earlier. I had breakfast at the hotel. The toaster for warming bread browns quickly, so I think it's best to toast it in small increments of about 1 minute.

This hotel is very close to Kiyomizu Gojo Station, right by the Kamogawa River. It is also the same hotel I stayed in when I went to Kyoto for the second time. It is quite convenient. The hotel registration is on the second floor. You have to go through a long and narrow corridor to enter. The room is not very big, and it is a bit troublesome to unfold the suitcase, but the tatami bed is still quite comfortable.

We booked a connecting room for three people. The price was a bit high, but it provided many disposable practical items, including small packages of facial cleansers, lotions, and various tea bags, which can be picked up free of charge on the first floor; the hotel front desk can help with restaurant reservations, but the English of the lady at the front desk is not that good, but the service is very enthusiastic.

Stayed for two nights. The place is OK. There is Kamo River at the door and Keihan Railway Station is next to it. There are buses downstairs. It is within walking distance of Kiyomizu Temple, Yasaka Shrine and Shijo. There is also a convenience store and a drugstore downstairs. It is more than one kilometer away from Kyoto Station. It is a very unique small room with a spacious bathroom. It is a bit difficult to open a large suitcase. I would like to stay here again next time. Breakfast is 1,000 yuan, but I forgot to make a reservation and didn't eat it.

This price for two people is really a good deal. You still have to do your homework online in advance, so that you can consume directly at the store, which is convenient and cost-effective~ This is the only hotel I rebooked after staying here. . . Breakfast, very good, Location, 1 minute walk from Kamo River, 15 minutes walk from Kiyomizu Temple, both very close.
