Single room is too small room and the design of the room is not optimizing the small space. If you have large suitcase, you have to put it at the entrance which will either block the entrance door or the toilet door. You will need to keep moving your suitcase to open one of that doors (they don’t allow you to put your suitcase on tatami mat). But well, that is something I can still tolerate despite the room rate is not that cheap. The only thing I cannot tolerate is the staff being inconsiderate and not allowing me to spend max of 5 mins to perform my prayer after checking out (I asked whether I can use their laundry room, they said no and not giving any other alternative at all). There was not many guest at that time (around 3pm) so chances of them using the laundry room is zero. Other hotel/hostel that I have stayed before are fine with it so this is my first time experiencing this. If I know they are that inconsidered, I would have dropped by kyoto tower and perform my prayer first before collecting my luggage. This price for two people is really a good deal. You still have to do your homework online in advance, so that you can consume directly at the store, which is convenient and cost-effective~ This is the only hotel I rebooked after staying here. . . Breakfast, very good, Location, 1 minute walk from Kamo River, 15 minutes walk from Kiyomizu Temple, both very close.

The room was smaller than I thought, but considering the price and location, I am satisfied! And it was nice that they changed the towels every day. However, there are no toothbrushes and toothpaste, so bring your own! I intend to book again next time. ㅎㅎ

This is my second time staying here. I like this hotel very much. It is convenient for transportation, quiet, well-equipped, and has breakfast.

It's close to the station and convenient for transportation. It's a location that gives you a real Kyoto feel.

It's right outside the Beijing-Banzhou Line station. The entrance is quite small and you have to walk into the alley to take the elevator. There is a 7-star hotel downstairs with tatami beds. The breakfast is good and the price/performance ratio is high.

The location was convenient, it was reasonably priced, breakfast was included, and the compact room was used efficiently and was comfortable.

The Japanese-style room had a nice atmosphere, and the futon was fluffy, so I slept soundly! The breakfast had more variety than I expected and was delicious! It wasn't a large room, but the cost performance, location, cleanliness, and service were all perfect! The person at the front desk was also very nice! The room type I stayed in seemed inconvenient for people with large luggage such as trunks, so I think it would be a good idea to get a larger room.

This hotel is right in the city center. It is very convenient for walking. The service attitude is very good and they are willing to help. There are many scenic spots nearby, such as temples, cultural streets, small shops, etc.

Overall it's okay, the location is very good and the price/performance ratio is relatively high. The only drawback is that there are a few staff, especially during breakfast time.

Check-in is at 5pm.It's a little hard to see from the outside, but when I stayed there, it had a calm atmosphere and was clean. I ordered breakfast included and it was very good! I will go again ⭐︎

The special room of the hotel is very small, and you cannot move around after opening the door. The cleanliness is okay, but there is dust in minor areas such as the air-conditioning outlet and the exhaust grille. I stayed in three hotels during this trip, and none of them provided bottled water. The breakfast was OK, but it wasn’t like a big hotel! For example, I just had breakfast and a cup of coffee. The hotel is conveniently located nearby, with convenience stores and restaurants nearby. The only thing I don't know is that I was overcharged 400 yen when I checked in at the front desk. It must be tax or something! Overall it's OK. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to Kiyomizu Temple and Nijo shopping area, so it's not a big problem for hikers.

The hygiene is average. There are a few hairs on the sheets and pillows. It feels like they were not cleaned carefully.

Second stay, still quite good.
