Hotel Forza Kyoto Shijo Kawaramachi Reviews

First, the room was smelly which likes the mixture of smelly foot and cigarette. Second, when I asked for the front dest to give me some water , they asked me to get it by myself from the front dest when the other rooms could really get the “room service”. The service this time really disappointed me while comparing to that in August. Even though the location of the hotel is convenient, I think I will choose another hotels next time when I visit Kyoto.

The hotel is located at the heart of Kyoto, you are so near to everywhere. You can enjoy free flow coffee and 1 cup of sake everyday. Didn’t order the breakfast as you can go to nearby shop to eat, although there is not much shop open for breakfast. The room size is good as well, I can open 2 luggage easily. Recommended.

The location is good, linked with station, but when we asked about bottled water, the front desk said after check out we cannot have free bottled water…however we just returned the key cards at the moment, they still treated us as check-out guests so we couldn’t get free bottled water. I think it can be flexible.

Good location! But if you travel with families, recommend you to reach there by taxi, it is quite a distance from Shijo station( which direct line from kyoto station to here) but everything in the hotel is good , easy accessible to most of the attractions, and it is very near to Nishiki market

Location is great, however was assigned a room facing the road and it was very noisy this time. Could hear ambulance and cars in the early morning. The sofa in the room was not clean as well, my partner developed itchy rash after sitting on it. Shame there is no smoking room /lounge as well.

Nice location for a shopaholic coz it’s located at the central of the shopping area and is surrounded by many shopping malls. It’s also near the famous tourist attractions in walking distance. Would recommend to you all.

Great location, good amenities!

Hotel in perfect location, close to all public transportations. Checkin and checkout are done by kiosk machine which was super easy. Everything else are as expected, pretty decent room. They also have laundry machines if you need to wash your cloths.

Good location. Only thing at the room, the curtain can't close it properly, ard 5am already bright at the room🙈

The hotel location is near to everywhere. Love the location, cleanliness and the hotel rate is reasonable.
