Absolutely loved this hotel! Love how the hotel has a shuttle service from and to Kyoto station. The hotel staff is very friendly, polite and helpful, the amenities are great; there is a small gym and laundry room. The room is spacious, clean, comfy and there are daily supplies of coffee, tea and cookies.

Overall, I'm quite satisfied, although the 21 sq meter room wasn't as spacious as I'd imagined. The location is relatively quiet, with a Lawson and McDonald's downstairs, and Higashiyama Station is just a 3-minute walk away. Plus, the hotel offers a bus service to Kyoto Station, departing at 55 minutes past the hour and returning at 25 minutes past.

We like the quiet streets along the hotel. The free shuttle service to Kyoto station was convenient but taking the train wasn’t difficult too. We could walk all the way from Gion to the hotel about 20 min walk. Have many nice restaurants around the area. Will definitely stay here again. Love their matcha gaufrette and coffee.

I found this to be a really excellent hotel in Kyoto, Japan. The service was superb, and it was wonderfully quiet, spotless, and elegantly appointed.
