Ibis Styles Properties in Kyoto

This is my third time staying at this hotel, and its convenient location directly outside Kyoto Station is always my primary reason for choosing it. The South Exit of Kyoto Station is definitely more convenient than the North. Given that Kyoto is a city where space is at a premium and rooms book up quickly, it's always wise to reserve early. As before, I opted for a twin room.

This hotel is conveniently located near exits 2 and 26 of Shijo Station on the Karasuma Line. Once you exit, turn left and walk for about seven or eight minutes. The bus stop is called Shijo Nishinotoin. If you're heading to Gion-Shijo or Kawaramachi, you'll need to cross the street to catch the bus, so make sure you're going in the right direction. The room size was perfect for one person, and I'm used to the smaller spaces in Japan, so it was acceptable. The toilet was just okay. Some reviews mentioned disliking the pillows, but I personally prefer firmer ones, and I slept very comfortably. Overall, I'm very satisfied.
