The room was a bit small, but clean and hygienic. The American breakfast in the morning didn't have many options, but it was perfectly fine for me. It's also not far from Kyoto Station, located on a quiet little side street just across and a bit down from the main road. You can see Kyoto Tower from here. The front desk gave me a discount coupon for Kyoto Tower, so I took the opportunity to visit it. Overall, I'm quite satisfied.

Excellent location just 3 minutes walking distance from Kyoto Station. You can get all toiletries amenities from the lobby, free flow of coffee, tea and soft drinks within a period of time. The room is normal Japanese size, enough for two people but cannot open both 20 inches suitcases at the same time. Cleanliness nothing more to say at this room rate. There has laundry area with few washing machine and dryer but the machine only accept electronic payment , they don’t accept cash and credit card which is reslly not user-friendly for tourists. When I seek the front desk assistance, they told me to go to laundry shop which is 8 mins walking distance. Not far away but we need to carry all the way back and forth. What’s the point of providing laundry service????

We stayed here at the Kyoto Tower Hotel because of its prime location, which is next to Kyoto Station, making it convenient for exploring the city. The hotel itself is a landmark, with the iconic Kyoto Tower.
Our standard double bedroom, however, was disappointingly small. The Japanese-style futon bed was a nice touch, but the lack of a wardrobe, desk, or drawers left us struggling to organise our belongings. The tiny round table was insufficient, and the compact bathroom, while very clean, felt cramped.
On the positive side, the air freshener, Japanese pajamas, washlet toilet, and USB outlets by the bed were welcome details.
The breakfast buffet on the third floor was a highlight, offering a commendable Japanese and Western spread in a comfortable, ambient restaurant. The hotel reception on the eighth floor was efficient, and as guests, we enjoyed a discount on the Kyoto Tower entrance fee. Overall, the location make it a wise choice, but the small rooms and lack of storage are major drawbacks.

The location is superb, right by Kyoto Station and just a two-minute walk from the exit. As a designer hotel, it certainly met expectations; the staff's strong service-mindedness made for a very comfortable stay. However, the lack of basic amenities such as toothpaste, toothbrushes, shower caps, and cotton pads was a letdown. For a supposed five-star hotel, I found this to be incredibly cheap. Especially considering the high nightly rate; a two-night stay certainly wasn't inexpensive.

The best location. Bus terminal, convenience store, department store, good BBQ restaurant are in front of the hotel
Near by the Teamlab Bivortex.
Big room, Digital TV, Bottled water is available at the check-in counter. The 1st hotel that has a power ***** provided in the room. An elevator has a window with nice view.
Suggestion for improvement
- Bathroom light is warm (too warm) which gave it an old-fashioned feel
- There was a little bit of black mold on the rim of the bath.

Exceeded my expectations! I randomly picked this hotel, and since I was traveling during the off-season, the price was reasonable, and most importantly, they had a triple room. Compared to other Japanese hotels, the room was quite spacious. The location is super convenient; within a 10-minute walk, there's a subway and bus station, and it's also very close to Kyoto Station – excellent transportation. The hotel facilities are relatively new. The only minor drawback might be the poor soundproofing.
The service was also great. I stored my luggage there before check-in and then checked in after 3 PM using the self-service kiosk. Besides standard toiletries, the hotel also provided facial cleanser and some lotion/toner, which even Koko hotels don't offer. Plus, each floor has a microwave for heating food, and they provided cutlery. The nearby 7-Eleven was well-stocked, but when I left, I didn't realize the Indian clerk hadn't given me cutlery, so I ended up getting it from the hotel. Overall, I was very satisfied!

My stay was excellent. The room was clean and comfortable, but the hotel's greatest advantage is its prime location right next to the Central Station, making travel incredibly convenient. The breakfast offered a fantastic variety, and the staff was both friendly and highly professional. I would highly recommend this hotel.
