Richmond Properties in Kyoto

The location is incredibly convenient, just one stop away from Kyoto Station. The hotel is new, and the rooms are quite spacious. The bathrooms feature a separate wet/dry area, and the bedding is very comfortable. The hotel provides complimentary afternoon tea from 3 PM to 4:40 PM, and the Häagen-Dazs ice cream was delicious. Free alcoholic beverages are also available in the evening. For consecutive stays, room cleaning needs to be requested by 9 AM at the latest. This policy takes a bit of getting used to. The garden downstairs is charming. Elevator access is key-card controlled, and the rooms offered complimentary movies for viewing. While the selection wasn't huge, there were definitely a few enjoyable options. Overall, it offers great value for money.

Location: Less than a 10-minute walk from the nearest four subway stations and Karasuma Hankyu Station, which I found extremely convenient. Facilities: On the 6th floor, there's a laundry room, ice machine, and microwave. Downstairs, there's a large Life supermarket where you can buy dinner, heat it up on the 6th floor, and bring it back to your room to eat. There are water dispensers next to the elevators on every floor, so getting water is never an issue. The room has two sinks and a wet/dry separation design. The hotel facilities are all new and spacious; opening three large suitcases at once was no problem. Service: The staff were very enthusiastic, and some front desk staff even spoke Chinese. Additionally, other staff members had excellent English, so there were no communication problems at all. On this trip, they even upgraded our family to a triple room, and we slept very comfortably. Overall, highly recommended! I would definitely consider staying here again if I have the chance to visit Kyoto! 💯
