Never before done a review of a restaurant we didn't eat in but this was exceptional. We sat down in the lovely room and looked at the menus which were very expensive considering where we were and I noticed a line at the bottom saying there was an extra cover charge of 5 euros per person for glasses, cutlery and plates unless you were stayin on a demi-pension basis or were eating one of the set menus! What is this about??? We left.

Okay for a stopover. The room was small but clean and the bed was comfortable. The decor was a bit worn. It wasn't possible to check-in before 5.30pm, which meant there was a queue of guests waiting to check in, putting the person on reception under pressure - as a consequence, they came across as a bit brusque. We ate in the restaurant on the first night - my lamb burger was nice but OH's burger was average and the chips were disappointing. Both desserts were nice though. Good location within easy walking distance of the town centre.

Needed a place on the road trip this was where we stayed. Decent and friendly service. Couldnt try restaurant was late and closed but they gave us desserts and drinks to make up for it. Great staff !!!

Booked at very short notice driving back from UK to Spain. Bargain rate and really friendly staff. Found us an adapter for UK to EU plug and kept the bar open for a couple of welcome beers. Ample breakfast too. The evening menu looked good too. Will stay again

hôtel agréable, tenu par un directeur accueillant et plein d'humour, bien situé dans le joli village de La Cavalerie, chambres simples mais propres et correctes, restaurant de qualité, proposant des menus du terroir, avec un personnel de service souriant et à l'écoute, petit déjeuner copieux. Hélas, le directeur a dû faire face momentanément à un manque de personnel, ce qui l'a obligé à fermer son restaurant le dernier soir de notre séjour, malgré sa bonne volonté et son énergie, avant de trouver une solution pour les beaux jours du mois de mai . Triste de constater cet état de fait, alors que cet hôtel restaurant mérite le détour! Nous adressons tous nos encouragements au directeur.

Una accueil au lance pierre .Aucune amabilité à l accueil. Un sourire ne lui aurait pas fait un 3eme trou.Chambre défraîchie à l image de l accueil. Petit déjeuner moyen donc légèrement mieux que l accueil .Bref nous n y retourneront plus jamais.

Restaurant de la poste à la cavalerie, aveyron. Déception, ns ns etions fiés à certains avis positifs hélas. Joue de porc et tête de veau passables. frites comme je n en ai jamais vues ni mangées..pas appétissantes, molles et froides. La serveuse m'en a apporté d'autres, chaudes mais....pas l'allure de frites. Vraiment pas mangeables. Pain rassi qui helas, laissait présager du reste...Pour faire passer le tout...boules de glace, rien à dire, serveuse souriante lors de la commande, restée aimable malgré nos airs insatisfaits...cerise sur le gateau, ns avions pris à la carte et non une formule. Cependant, on ns a fait payer la formule :plat dessert, plus cher que ce que nous avions pris. Je l ai fait remarquer et l on ns a rendu la différence. Si cela avait ete correct, je n'aurais pas fait la remarque.!.mais là c'était trop....mauvaise expérience, à eviter absolument. Je ne pense pas que ce restaurant puisse gagner une étoile au michelin !

Nous avons séjourné une semaine pour randonner en groupe sur le Larzac. Nous avons reçu un excellent accueil et apprécié un personnel aux petits soins. Cuisine de qualité, menus variés et imaginatifs. Lieu bien situé pour visiter les alentours. Nous reviendrons.
