The room was tight with space and the shower room the size of a closet. The wash basin was cracked. Where the manager was very charming and helpful her staff left much to be desired. Their body language left one with the impression that they were tired of tourists invading their space; indifferent and could not look at you in the eye. Table service was very poor showing a lack of training and experience. We were seated at a table but not given any menus. After waiting a quarter of an hour we noticed other couples arriving were seated and given menus immediately. At that point I got up and asked a member of staff for a menu. Having supplied our order we were kept waiting half an hour before the first course arrived while other customers who had arrived after us were served before us. Our dinner took us two and a half hours! On departure, after two nights, we were checked out by one of the assistants who was very curt, could not look at me in the eye and could not bring herself to wish us a pleasant journey! Cannot recommend this hotel

Staff is adequate but not great. Hotel is clean but needs a refresh. Great little old money walkable town with many great restaurants and bars. Incredible old hotel and many residences that are spectacular old homes. Unbelievable patisserie and unbelievable chocolatier in this town too.

The hotel I would describe as average. A little outdated and the hallway was decorated in a really dark wallpaper which made it very dark and dismal.. The room was ok and the bed comfortable. The grouting in the bathroom was a bit black and mouldy. The lighting in the room needs to be improved as it was also very dark. The receptionist explained everything and we didn't have any problems.

We arrived late after the kitchen was closed but they still made a meal for us, the place was spotless nd they could not be more welcoming. Easy to find and free parking outside the door. The town is also well worth spending a few hours with a lovely walk around the lake

Très bon accueil par la propriétaire, qui a été particulièrement arrangeante alors que nous arrivions d’un autre hôtel qui ne nous convenait pas. La piscine, bien que partiellement en travaux, reste agréable et bien entretenue. Les chambres sont correctes, avec le matériel nécessaire, même si la décoration n’est pas exceptionnelle. Le petit déjeuner est bon, et la spécialité proposée est excellente, avec de vrais produits locaux. On sent que la gérante a à cœur de faire plaisir à ses clients, ce qui rend le séjour très agréable.

Accueil courtois et agréable. J'étais dans l'annexe chambre 40. Bureau salle de douche lit confortable, nécessaire pour se faire une boisson chaude dans la chambre, wifi gratuit. Petit déjeuner copieux. Une nuit agréable et réparatrice. Merci
