Booking the family room we discover a quasi suite with two well-marked spaces and the happiness of our teenagers to have and free wifi, a TV in their space, a door to isolate themselves. Very special mention for the breakfast! Just sublime for a three-star. Local products. Juices and pastries. And a very rich and high, very high quality offer. Overall decor between vintage and traditional. Elegant mix. Absolute calm. Parking A must in triode stars"

"Hotel is ok - rooms quite small but reasonable fixtures - some decor damage but minor. Setting & grounds quiet with some outdoor seating. A couple of restaurants within a few minutes walk so a good (out of town) location for a stopover Slept ok - no noise."

"This dilapidated 17th Century hotel was a tourist trap…It was perhaps the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The stairs to the room were so steep we could barely get our luggage to the room. I felt the stairs were going to collapse under my feet. It was dark, dank, and to be honest a scary place to stay. We were met by the hotel manager who was pleasant enough, but we had to call him to open up the hotel so we could check in. Similarly the next morning when we tried to check out, he was no where to be found. We had to call the phone half a dozen times for him to pick up to get him to the desk. Quite frankly it felt like Hotel California - where you can check in but never leave…perhaps we were just one of the lucky ones and the devil said our souls weren’t pure enough to keep. Another comparison perhaps is the Batemans Hotel in Psycho"

"A beautiful and sympathetically restored house situated in large grounds in the centre of La Flèche. There is a large, free off street parking in the courtyard. Our bedroom was an open plan ensuite, however, there is a seat outside on the landing if you need privacy. The flooring in our room was sisal which could be uncomfortable for some people walking round in bare feet. The owner was happy to open the heated swimming pool so we could use it. Breakfast was copious and organic. Would definitely stay here again."
