Although it was last July when I stayed at Gailurretan, my experience there still remains as one of the best stays I've ever had. A little hard to share a gem when you find one, but Gailurretan and Maike deserve the highest praise. I spent 6 nights there, travelling solo. The location is beyond stunning and has to be seen to be believed. The beautiful traditional house is spotless and each room is decorated with a different theme. The pool area is surrounded by shaded trees to laze under and just gaze at the incredible view of the valley. It truly is a haven of peace and tranquility. Every guest I spoke to shared the feeling that it feels like a home from home. Maika is the most welcoming, natural and warm host who strives to make your stay at Gailurretan the best that it can be. I arrived as a guest and left as a friend. The food is fabulous and the vibe is low key. A place like this is a rare find and I look forward to my next visit!

Most beautiful setting with mountain views. Nice pool, uncrowded. Excellent quality food and good menu choice. The most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. Dryer and shower gel/soap included. Secluded and so relaxing. Definitely will return.

Un sitio donde olvidarte de las tensiones del dia a dia, entorno expectacular rodeado de montañas verdes , lugar amable, personal encantador Maika la dueña una mujer encantadora, y buena cocinera, su hermana que hace bolos ☺️es un cielo, un lugar muy recomendable si quieres hacer una ruta de montaña y comer en un lugar diferente.

A los pies del monte Balgerri se yergue majestuoso y sereno un precioso baserri reconvertido en casa rural regentada por Maika, una excepcional anfitriona que nos deleitará con una excepcional gastronomia casera y un servicio impecable. Desde su espléndida terraza la vista se pierde en el horizonte entre verdes cumbres que acarician nubes de terciopelo y tímidos rayos de sol. Entoces, allí sentado con una copa de vino en la mano, el paisaje bucólico invita a la paz, el recogimiento y la reflexión profunda; y a hacerse la pregunta de si merece la pena volver a la ciudad para volver a hacer aquello que consideramos tan importante y si no sería mejor quedarse allí para encontrar la respuesta sobre lo que realmente importa.

¿Sabes esa sensación de estar en la casa rural ideal, en el entorno ideal, en la cama ideal y con un desayuno inmejorable? Pues eso. Desconectar y recuperar energías en un lugar que aporta paz.
