Le Prose hotel

This was a very nice hotel tucked away in Le Grande Motte. We chose it by force when all the 5 star ones were booked up in the area. It was a pleasant surprise! Seems some renovations were recently done. On arrival, staff were helpful. Offering to take our many luggage up. Rooms were spanking clean and tasteful decor. Not huge but ok. But…they had your own split lever AC! You control the temperature - not the hotel! After being disappointed in ACs throughout our month long road trip in France, this was paradise! The balcony was a nice size and looked into a garden of sorts. Separate toilet and bath was a great time saving feature. A small corner sink in the toilet to wash your hands though would have been perfect. Lots of secure parking. Breakfast in the hotel was nice with splash of colors in the decor. And you can sit outside in the garden to eat. A machine to boil your own eggs even. The lift though was very small. The trolley they had could hardly fit. So if you have lots of luggage - it took many trips on check in and check out. The receptionist kindly offered to help but don’t see how it can work as the lift only took one person with the trolley - and only just. It’s a short walk to the beach past a wonderful assortment of restaurants, patisseries and souvenir shops. Even a laundry. It’s one of the best beaches we’ve been to in the south. Cold by tropical standards but clean and the water clear. The lively promenade for beach front was fantastic. So many restaurants and shops. All in all, a great find for a stay in Le Grande Motte. Good location, welcoming staff, Comfortable rooms and reasonably priced.

Me & my husband really enjoyed our stay, the staff are informative and very attentive especially when I had a reaction to a bite. Room a great size, comfortable bed and loved the balcony, restaurant had a stone pizza oven and very good options for breakfast. Only downside was half board menu was the same every evening, more choice would have improved our stay but food was delicious and well presented. Perfect location and short walk to promenade. Would definitely stay again!

Stylish hotel with what looks like a great restaurant however because of my ever changing travel plans - it could be said I really messed them around ! - ultimately cancelling a two night booking. The staff were extremely helpful - nothing was too much trouble - will definitely come back next time I’m in Grande Motte.

We enjoyed our stay & the reception was very polite & helpful. At the pool/bar it was somewhat different-it took ages to get served & only after going to the bar to ask if we could have a drink. The tables were not cleaned, but the 5 big drinking guys on the bar got lots of service…. The room was generally good. The air conditioning sounded like a tractor & the kids room was very small. The rest was great & I am very pleased we stayed here.
