The complex is very clean and well looked after. The villas are lovely and spacious with great bathrooms. We are a family of 5 and stayed in a two story apartment. It was only cleaned once during our week stay so towels had to be re used but there was a washing machine.. we didn't go all inclusive as we like to venture out and you definitely need a car to do so as it's 20 minutes from the main town correlejo where the big supermarkets are. There is a smaller supermarket around 12 minutes drive though. The shop onsite is ridiculously expensive charging €8.88 for a packet of Doritos. I would say that having a car is essential for those who aren't all inclusive. We ate at the all inclusive restaurant one night as we didn't know that there was in fact another restaurant that's supposed to be great. It was €88 for all 5 of us but compared to the meals in the town, which were on average €100, it wasn't worth it. The pool snacks with all inclusive are sandwiches, crisps and peanuts but pizzas and hot dogs were charged. We loved the oven baked pizzas at €8-9 each. We had breakfast a few times which was €13 per person but cheaper for kids under 12. The breakfast selection was really good and all very tasty. Also it was buffet so you could help yourselves more than once. The pool facilities were excellent with life guards being very thorough. Making sure smaller kids could swim before going down the slides and a guard at each pool. The kids were definitely safe. The evening entertainment was good for kids and the staff were all very friendly working from morning until night. The pavements need redoing and the apartments are a little way from the facilities. The pool opens at 10 and there was a queue in the mornings but no one was short of loungers. Sometimes short of shade as there aren't many umbrellas dotted around. We actually tried to extend our stay, however the hotel had no availability. But we would stay again and we wouldn't go all inclusive. The car hire was definitely our best purchase and autoreisen was great for the price and no deposit required. It was very quick and easy once we had landed. There is a small beach we discovered which is behind the hotel complex but again we wouldn't want to walk there as it would take a while. We took a packed lunch as there are no shops but was so stunning. In correlejo there are numerous larger beaches with sun loungers and shops. Over all such a beautiful place and a great hotel. Definitely venture into correlejo and stay away from the pricy on site shop!
