"We Stayed two nights with friends to attend a funeral. Rhe apartment has everything you need gor a comfortable stay. The location was superb and relaxing. The pool and gardens added to our relaxation. With the Broadwater and walking track across the road and dining options all a short walk away, would recommend to anyone."

"Look, if you are a smoker you shouldn't have much issue with your stay here. The apartment is big, and fine for the price. I'm not fussy and won't point out the smaller things. But the one thing I can't stand is the lack of clean air. The other reviews about the smoke smell is true, if anything they are an understatementof how bad it is. The issue is all the air vents in bathroom, toilet and laundry connect to other apartments. The permanent tenants must chain smoke in their rooms which flows through into the other apartments, it's filth. I've have to shut all the doors and pretty much barricade those sections off and have everyone use the ensuite. The bedrooms are opposite these rooms, so even with the doors shut, you can smell it. I've travelled for 30 plus years and never had this happen. Murray seems like a nice bloke but he needs to do something about the vents. Just block them, they do mode damage than good. The stench as you hit the stairwell is brutal. It's like the smokers section at the pub. I seriously can't believe how strong the smell is. In short, if you can deal living like smokers are sitting on your top lip, go for it. I don't get the no smoking signs, what a joke. You can't open the balcony doors to get fresh air as it's just as bad outside. It's like no one here works and just smoke all day. It's disgusting."

"My booking & payment was made with Agoda 2 months before my check in date for Xmas eve. The Manager of Beaconlea Apartments was very nervous upon my check in & said his computer system did not line up with Agoda & he did not receive any funds. I contacted Agoda who confirmed the full payment was released & booking was confirmed. It appears the Manager just simply double booked us & left us out on the street on Xmas eve at 4pm - 12 hours from home. No contact was made by the.Manager prior to trying to check in. Agoda were great & refunded my money in full & gave.me a credit for.a.future booking. Terrible experience!"
