Nice architecture like in Santorini. Room is ok for the price but could use a bit more cleaning. Nice rooftop bar but pool is a bit small but with great sunset view.
Katamaran Hotel & Resort Komodo

katamaran|The service is super good, and the most important thing is that the food is very suitable for Chinese tastes 1️⃣The sea view room is nothing to say, it is a standard for Indonesian tourism. Because it was cloudy, the photos did not look very good. The scenery should be very good on a sunny day 2️⃣The service is also super good. The front desk guy takfik taught himself Chinese and led us to the room all the way. He also said Happy New Year to us (˶╹ꇴ╹˶)🧨Breakfast can be ordered to the room. Because the hotel was newly opened in 2024, the bar is still being installed, so I was worried that the noise would affect the check-in and sent desserts to the room in advance 3️⃣⭕️The most important thing is that the food is really suitable for Chinese tastes. Because the transportation in Komodo is really inconvenient, it is very important to have a good hotel restaurant, especially when everyone comes to Komodo for a sea tour. After a tiring day, they just want to relax in the hotel and don’t want to go out to find food, which makes the hotel restaurant even more important. Recommend the fried noodles for breakfast and the Indonesian fried rice for dinner, the kind with wok flavor, first-rate 🍚(^^)🍜 4️⃣The hotel facilities are very new and good👍

The best part of staying at this place was that it does have a private beach that you can snorkel from and relax and watch the sunsetting. However, the resort is about a 15 minute drive to the centre of town. You can get a car from the resort most of the time without too much of a wait for the cost of $10 AUD each way. However, we did have to find our own way back from the town centre after 10pm and paid local drivers more. You will need to go into the town centre every day because unfortunately the resort restaurant is awful. The service and food were very disappointing and well below average. We had breakfast included with our stay and only ate breakfast there once. There are many great restaurants and bars in surrounding hotels and town centre and I would recommend using those. Our room was quite nice, although the bathroom was mouldy and grimy in places. The staff were friendly.

The place was great and affordable for a family getaway. The pool in our room was adequate sized and clean. Be ready for lots of mosquitoes. But the hotel was kind enough to provide us with aerosol sprays. Shower area was great but there were some stains on the WC lid cover. The food could be improved alot. It was subpar. Otherwise staff were very helpful and even prepared a breakfast pack for us before we went on our excursion to komodo island. Food 2/5.
AYANA Komodo Waecicu Beach

Really really love my experience here!! I knew Ayana was good and I even saw some videos online yett I was still sooooo impressed when I arrived there. We did some water activity which were really fun. The service was good and this has become a special place for us! If there is one thing that can be improved is the breakfast, we felt like it was just so so in comparison to all the other things that we experienced there. Thanks Ayana!!

I had a wonderful stay! The hotel’s ambiance was lovely, starting with a breezy, open-air lobby that immediately set a relaxing tone. My room was comfortable and well-appointed, although it didn’t have a view. The highlight was definitely the rooftop breakfast—great selection with an incredible view to match! There was a small gym, though it could use a bit more equipment. Overall, a fantastic experience in a beautiful setting.
