The Red Lion ★★★★
"I would highly recommend The Red Lion.I can not big the pub up enough. The room and ensuite was lovely, the manager and staff were all friendly and attentive and the fish and chips was banging.I can not say a bad thing about the pub, only go there and be amazed by everything they do there to make you feel welcome and well looked after.Excellent place."
Sign of the Angel ★★★★
"Incredible food, friendly staff and comfortable rooms. We couldn't have asked for more. We especially enjoyed being able to use the comfortable lounge to sit and have drinks before and after dinner. A fantastic place to stay as a base to explore Lacock and surrounding areas."

Best Western Plus Angel Hotel ★★★
"Everything was lovely for a short stay. Had parking available so great place to stop on a road trip. Would definitely recommend staying at. It’s not a modern style hotel but everything in the room is very clean, neat and comfortable."
Beechfield House ★★★★
"Amazing room. Incredible facilities."
Manor Farm Bed & Breakfast ★★★
"This is the perfect place to experience traditional country life of England. The farmhouse itself is very grand and several centuries old, with its traditional features still in the original form. Room itself is comfortable with a modern bathroom. The landlady is a farmer’s wife, very friendly and nice to talk with. You’ll be served a traditional English breakfast at a big old table. Staying here was very memorable and pleasant experience."
Dog and Partridge Inn ★★★
"We had a lovely stay there. The room was big and warm, with generous one double and one single comfortable beds, small but sufficient bathroom offering necessary toiletries, TV, and tea/coffee making facilities. The staff is very nice and helpful. Price was very reasonable and it's great location for visiting Atwell Wilson Motor Museum nearby. Breakfasts are served only on weekends, but if you crave full English there is huge Tesco with great cafe just a few minutes drive away. All rooms are on ground floor, but they may not be suitable for wheelchair users due to the narrow doorways, however useful for people with reduced mobility but not wheelchair bound."
Leonardo Hotel Swindon ★★★★
"Location is good, 5-1ins walk to the city centre and shopping mall. Room is clean and the air conditioning is good."
Travelodge Chippenham ★★★
"⭐ 1/5 – Very Disappointing Stay Stayed for 7 nights and wouldn’t return. Wi‑Fi only provides 30 minutes per day and didn’t work at all during my stay. When I asked Vanessa (Assistant Manager) for help, she was abrupt and told me to call the number on the key card wallet. Reception is only open 10am and 3pm, so getting assistance is difficult. Room cleanliness was unacceptable. There were ***** hairs on the toilet floor. When I reported it, Vanessa was rude and claimed I “didn’t mention it earlier”, even though I only noticed it later when I returned to the room. She said it would be cleaned, but it wasn’t. There was also dirty water residue left in the shower. There is no door sign to request room cleaning, so the bed linen wasn’t changed and the toilet wasn’t cleaned for the entire week. Being able to top up towels doesn’t justify the £100 per night price. Corridor doors had broken soft‑closing mechanisms, and guests were smoking in their rooms, which wasn’t addressed. On the positive side, Josh and Caitlin were very pleasant and helpful. Overall, poor cleanliness, poor service, and not worth the cost."
George Hotel & Granary ★★★★
"Great place."
