Among the Chinese-owned hotels on Via Vary, the Grand Hyatt is probably the largest chain of Chinese hotels in Nigeria. They have locations both on the mainland and on the island. The rooms are clean and tidy, and three meals a day are included. The staff are friendly and provide attentive service. They even offer laundry service. I'd definitely stay here again on my next business trip.

Hotel is immaculate. Staff is extremely friendly and respectful. All inclusive hotel with 3 meals a day and free bottled water. Restaurant has amazing food if you want that instead of the free Buffett. Rooms are extremely clean. Halls and reception is extremely clean. Water view outside restaurant is beautiful. Pool is a plus. Only thing I would change is the 2 steps off the elevator. Very easy to slip and fall on.

I had a wonderful 16-night stay at this apartment and couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the moment I arrived, all the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. Every query or request I had was handled promptly and with genuine care, which made my stay stress-free and enjoyable. The apartment was comfortable and well-maintained, making it feel like a home away from home. I truly appreciated the excellent customer service and attention to detail throughout my stay. Excellent location in terms of proximity to the airport. Facilities are good but could be better like the WiFi which was a bit slow.

The hotel workers are friendly, hardworking and accommodating. The hotel was located in a very catchy area with ease access to shopping mall and supermarkets . However from personal experience point of view, the hotel Wi-Fi was very poor. In addition the hotel wifi can only connect to single device, maximum of two devices is not allowed. I had to use my personal mobile data for the total of 7days that I stayed in the hotel.

Great service, good food excellent environment and secured location. The room was well lit and comfortable.

The hotel’s location was very convenient for my trip, and the facilities and amenities met a good standard. The staff (although some have attitude issues) were also polite and welcoming throughout my stay. However, guests (particularly non national) should be cautious when requesting services or ordering food, as pricing are inflated, inconsistent and significantly higher than what’s stipulated on the menu. I would strongly recommend checking the menu carefully and comparing prices with nearby hotels or service providers before making purchases to avoid being overcharged. This is also applicable outside the hotel.
