It was the first night of our trip going through southwest Ireland. Had stayed before on a golf trip. Accommodations very good. Hot night but there were fans in the room, so comfortable. Staff was great and arranged transportation to/from a restaurant. Bar was very nice for a before dinner drink.

rooms were large with two double beds with a large shower. Rooms were warm with a window that opens. tea and coffee were provided. There was a lift which was very good if you had luggage or walking difficulties. The breakfast had a great selection and was freshly cooked

My husband and I stayed in the Vaughan Lodge last week and we were extremely disappointed with the service in the Hotel. The night porter was very heavy handed in telling me that I had my foot on the coffee table in the customer lounge. ( It was barely resting on the table ) . I would have let that go but the worst part was that I spoke to Maria Vaughan the owner the next morning who was extremely rude to me and would not even listen to what I had to say. I was shocked and we left the hotel and I would never return.So if you are looking for a friendly welcome don't stay here. Mary Murphy

Went to Ireland for sightseeing and golf and stayed two nights at Vaughns Lodge. Service was fantastic, the staff were all friendly and helpful. We ate dinner at the restaurant one evening and the food and service was great. Very easy walk into town with a number of pubs, restaurants and shops. The beach is fun with lots of surfers. Highly recommend.

A group of 4 of us dined in Vaughan Lodge last weekend. We were warmly welcomed by Maria & Michael the owners who looked after us very well. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was top class. We would recommend the scallops, oysters and fillet of beef! We are looking forward to returning very soon. FYI, you do not need to stay in Vaughan Lodge to enjoy a meal in their restaurant contrary to common belief. Everyone is welcome to dine there without being a resident.

Large and comfortable room. Very much a "golf" hotel. Good location to walk into town and enjoy the seafront, and very convenient to drive out and explore the countryside. Very good breakfast, and dinner was good too. Efficient and friendly service.

The staff at Vaughn Lodge could work in a five star London hotel. They are proffessional, courteous as well as warm and welcoming. They can assist in arranging anything. Rooms are very good and clean. Food at Vaughn’s is the absolute best for miles around. My wife and I can only rave about VL. My mates and I stay frequently and also rave. Top notch establishment which deserves all the accolades!!!!

Looking for great food, nice environment. Very friendly serving. Experienced advise in wine. This is the best restaurant in Lehinch. Fair prices for all you get. This is absolutely a place for gourmet and people that appreciate a fine dinner.
