The location is good, about 7 minutes' walk from the center of the town. The room has ample heating equipments, so you can have a warm sleep even in the coldest winter days. However, the sound insulation condition is bad and will interact with the guests on the other side of a thin wooden door. The most difficult thing to understand is the area is less than 40 square meters, but the introduction says 80 square meters. The owner and trip.com should correct the information.

Great Stay Near Lake Tekapo!
The unit was sparkling clean and spacious, with a lovely courtyard to enjoy. The bed and pillows were clean and comfortable, ensuring a good night's rest.
Contrary to some reviews, no deposit was required, which was a pleasant surprise. The location is fantastic—less than a 5-minute drive to Lake Tekapo—and parking right in front of the unit was very convenient. The check-in instructions were clear and easy to follow.
The facilities were great overall especially kitchen amenities and 2in1 washer with dryer!
The dish wash machine helps lot on the kitchen cleaning work!
The only suggestion I have for improvement would be to add a fence in the shower area to separate the wet and dry zones, which would make it even better.
Overall, a wonderful stay. Highly recommend!

JjhoannaWe booked late, arrived even later but check in was so simple with a code for the digital door lock. A newly built residence, well appointed for families with 4 bedrooms, parking for 2 vehicles, very warm and cosy. Another plus, Two living areas so kids can settle and watch tv or play games in one whilst adults socialise in the main living area. Plenty of heating, plenty of blankets, no-one was cold. Highly recommend!

However, the noise isolation is not very good, can hear the noise from the people in next house and the car parking is a bit difficult. Other than that, everything is good and close to the church and restaurant!

TTanAndyThe stay was good, quite a new apartment for a family of 3, I think it can stay up to 4. Just that, quite a distance from Lake Tekapo, which we need to walk 10 -15 minutes to reach the Lake to view Milky way. There are some minor defers that was there before my stay, hope they could fix for the next stay. Overall, I love the view and hope to stay there again.

And the bathroom sink and kitchen drain don't drain well.
When I brush my teeth or wash my face, the water doesn't drain well and gets stuck.
I slept warmly because there was an electric blanket. When it was hot during the day, the air conditioner worked well. The staff were friendly. The proximity to Lake Tekapo, the supermarket, etc. was great. It was great to see the stars at night :-))

HHeheheheThis nearly century-old villa on the shore of Lake Tekapo is a pearl near the Shepherd's Church. When you open the window, you can see the rippling lake. In the morning, the mist is like a dancing veil. When dusk falls, the whole world turns into an impressionist painting - the rose-gold sunset wraps the snow-capped mountain peaks, reflected on the mirror-like lake, and the beautiful scenery of the lake and mountains forms a beautiful silhouette.
The starry sky theater after nightfall is even more breathtaking. The Milky Way in the southern hemisphere pours down like a broken diamond waterfall, playing a cosmic symphony with the silent distant mountains. Starry sky lovers should never miss it.
As a homestay transformed from a century-old building, the owner cleverly divides the main building into two independent suites, and there is a relatively independent room for rent at the back. The holiday house we stayed in can accommodate 4 people, and the log beams and antique fireplace inside tell the story of time.
There is a kitchen in the room, where you can cook, cook noodles, cook porridge, etc. Finally saved my Chinese stomach. Because it is a homestay, good environmental hygiene still needs everyone to maintain it together, so remember to clean up after cooking.
The room is air-conditioned and heated. I personally think the temperature is just right for sleeping. If you are afraid of cold, there are electric heaters in the house and electric blankets on the bed, but you must pay attention to electrical safety.
If you only stay for one day, it is really a bit unsatisfactory. It is best to arrange to stay in Tekapo for two days, play around the surrounding projects, and see the snow-capped mountains. It is definitely beyond expectations.
Finally, it is recommended that the store also install curtains in the kitchen so that the privacy will be better.
