Baymont by Wyndham Lakeland

The stay was horrible. People walking around while we’re outside asking my 15 year old daughter and my brother if they wanted to buy *****, kids in the front physically fighting, the whole 2nd floor smelled like ****, went to the pool and came back and our pizza had roaches all over it. Mirror and outlets didn’t work, our 3rd night there our neighbors were yelling and screaming and physically fighting at 3 am which woke us all up. Someone banged on our door telling us to call the police she has been stabbed! We did nothing and were scared to open the door. That morning we told the front desk and they were not surprised being they are long time guests there I guess! We rented another hotel because my daughter was so scared! We left a day early because it was not a family hotel!

Room had spiders and ants.

The bathroom tub had issues with the drain and the soap dispenser wasn't working properly either and the pipe in the tub was making a loud noise also the a/c made lots of noise I guess this property is quite old and not very well maintained

It hadn’t been cleaned and it smelled. The bathroom mirror light wouldn’t turn on and the light switches were messed up. We were charged for a room with two queens and were given to twins sitting on a queen sized bed frame. And the ac was leaking so the rug that was on the floor was soaking wet. And for a place that had me sign that it was 100% smoke free and we couldn’t smoke it smelled like straight **** in the halls and elevator.

Unfortunately, there is no computer desk or table or small couch to sit other than the bed. This property is totally different than any other Baymont locations.

There was NO HOT Breakfast available other than make your own waffles, no muffins or Bagels. Had to request Housecleaning 3X as well as Towels and Washcloths. A REAL DISAPPOINTMENT!!

The only problems were the air conditioning unit makes noise and also when the water is turned on in the tub for the shower.

Room was clean, staff responsive, it is an older property and needs updating. Room had a Venetian blind but no drape. Sink and bathtub had cracks and peeling on bottom. No closet. Breakfast was lacking. We came down at 910 and there was literally nothing left and we were told it ends at 930.

Check in was easy, staff was nice. Building and pool out dated. Room was basic, bathroom was small and smelled like a pool locker room.
