Travelodge by Wyndham Cleveland Lakewood

The place wasn't particularly clean although it wasn't outright dirty either. The location is close to shops and the lake and reasonable walk away from the local train transport and a beautiful view of the city. The breakfast in the morning, free for all guests as I was told, was rather poor. The room had a fridge which was good and overall had everything I needed.

It was an average stay for a night stopover. Location isn’t great but it’s near the edgewater park for a good jog or stroll to view the lake. Breakfast selection was very limited. Lots of flies during this period so beware of the area.

There were no amenities for bathroom

The experience overall was terrible. The hotel room was filthy, fridge had leaks, cold water wasn’t working, only hand towel were available for use and the staff was not friendly. Several guests were complaining about bugs in their beds.

There was no towel, the super hot water, there was no cold water, the toilet didn't work very badly, bad experience

The place was very untidy. I felt they are not ready to handle a full house guest. Maybe that's the reason the service was poor. Rooms on the ground floors are very untidy. There were some suspicion about bed bugs by some other boarders so they changed the rooms for them but gave the same room to us and while we asked the same option then they told us that there are no rooms available. One of the room we found dead cockroach lying on the floor. Service I can understand Capacity issue but tideness is something which is a fundamental issue.

This was one of the worst places I have ever ALMOST stayed at. I left after looking at 2 rooms. Absolutely disgusting! Both rooms were not cleaned. Hair and stains all over the toilet. Holes in the wall, dirt everywhere and the sheets and pillow cases had stains and holes. Looked like burn holes! I went to front desk because the phone didn't work. She told me they had no housekeeping. Which was obvious! We left. I fought to get my money back. Luckily I bought the insurance. I will never go back there. Ever.

The original room I was given would not unlock, then the second room I was given did not have a working lock and I was told by the front desk that that it would be fine and requested another room. The third room I was given, the air conditioner did not turn on, there was no shower curtain at all in the bathroom, the lamp had no lamp shade, most outlets did not work, and the mini fridge was removed. I then left, and booked a room at Quality Inn.

Bodily fluids in the room, feces on the floor bugs in the room. God awful property. Looked like a scene out of the TV show The Wire. This hotel should be condemned and shut down.
