Excellent location, very near to the train station. Places to eat and see were a short walk away from the hotel. The Angel of north was a 15 min drive. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was great too! We had an amazing time using the spa facilities aswell. Would definitely recommend

Our stay at Crowne Plaza was exactly what we wanted. The room & facilities were excellent and a most comfortable bed ( always a must) Room service was prompt Change of towels excellent 👌 The hotel buzzes with people traveling in & out. All in all we loved our stay both with the hotel & the staff.

Hotel was lovely. We got room upgraded as it was our anniversary. The room was clean but it has an awful odor in the room. Smelt sour like split milk Or might have been sick.

I had 4 suites booked. A 21st birthday and 40th on the same day. Happy with the location and what was available in the hotel. But. Bar was closed early, bathrooms were good but grouting was a little under kept and my biggest disappointment was breakfast. Took nearly 40mins for an eggs Benedict. Was a bit disappointed with that due to the amount I spent on rooms. Sorry for the critical feedback, other than those few bits. Parking was easy, check in time great, staff good.

Lovely hotel in a convenient location for a short stay for sightseeing and close to the railway station. Friendly helpful staff in the restaurant, spa and pool area and spacious modern rooms with all amenities.
