the le neuf hotel in lampang is a bit hidden but yet at a very central location near the river and the walking street (old town).the hotel is privately managed and i seldom met more helpful and friendly people then the owners of the hotel. after a warm welcome we have been brought to our soacious and very clean room. the hotel is small and without a pool or a gym. but its cozy and homey. the owner soent a lot of time to explain us all the possibilities we had for sightseeing and made sure everything that we wanted to see and do was open and available. the self serve breakfast is not like in a 5* hotel but what you get is good and you get enough. all in all its a very good and friendly managed hotel and next time we go to lampang the le neuf will be again our first choice.

I liked how they had some covered parking spots. The cashier didnt know english but was good with using the translator app which is very helpful. Location was close to alot of places, yet far enough from outside noise. The decorations are a bit outdated and cleaning could be better. Beds are a bit old but it was alot more comfortable than most I've stayed at in Thailand. There is no soundproofing. I could hear the room next door up until midnight.

It is a small hostel located near the train station of Lampang Province, convenient to walk for tourists using the train service. First you're afraid if the taxi can't find in the dark Smaids Room, but at last we entered a modern Resort. Directly a nice staff who helps you with everything. Sleep calm and a good breakfast in the morning, choose Thai or Europe. For the city exploration they have good bikes and staff gives additional information for the attractions to search. We had a good stay and go back to Lampang and Smaids Room in four weeks. We will give the route ourselves because we know the city and are happy to have dinner again in the street

It is a school that, at first glance, is clean and the rooms are neat. When we got to stay, the mattress looked like it hadn't been changed, the sheets smelled of marks and hair, the bathroom was dirty, the shower didn't have a shower hose. The water hose flows very gently. The trash can has the trash of old residents in it. The TV cannot be turned on and has no signal. Tissue trash cans are only available in the bathroom. The dusty makeup mirror has fingerprints on it. Late at night, 2:00 a.m., the power went out and I woke up from the heat. It was almost 4 a.m. and we had to move rooms. Even though I slept late, I had to wake up early to check out. There are no apologies. It's very, very bad. I feel bad.

If there is an empty parking space ... the staff actually call, but went down and the parking lot was parked by other cars ... wasting time and a little feeling. The number of rooms is large, but there are about 15 parking spaces, which must be used together with the restaurant of the school.
