Areti Hotel ★★
"We just finished our stay in here . What a lovely hotel. Very peaceful , clean and amazing, friendly staff- always there if you need them. Breakfast was very good. Rooms are lovely-very modern style. After so many holidays in all inclusive we decided to have nice quiet break and Areti hotel is what we needed-definitely more like 4 star hotel. Only one thing- is on hill so not for everyone who has mobility issues as you would need to climb on stairs."
Minos Boutique Hotel ★★★
"We had a lovely stay at Minos Boutique hotel in Agia Galini. The owners Marelina, Yanis and Tonya (mum, dad and daughter) are so welcoming and couldn’t be friendlier. Our room was always spotlessly clean, we were in room 8 on top the floor which had a fantastic view over the water and harbour. The breakfast was so generous and delicious with a vast array of choices including delicious large omelettes. Ideal location perched up on the cliff between the beach and the town, only a 10 minute walk either way. Minos is a lovely intimate, friendly family run hotel and we are so glad we chose it for our stay in Agia Galini."
Hotel Kissandros ★★
"Good hotel, very nice and caring owners, I recommend"
Stella Luxury Apartments ★★★
"We stayed here in August and had a lovely time. The reception was friendly and adaptable to our check in time. The apartment itself was much smaller than the pictures (We had a maisonette) with no dining table which was a bit disappointing, and there was no shade on the upstairs balcony to eat upstairs. The bed was comfy, and the lightning was wonderful - Lamps, and mood lighting and the air conditioning worked well. The bathroom shower head was falling off though, and the location on the road in front meant it was noisy most of the day, and the building in front does partially block the seaview. The apartment overall was starting to need a bit of maintenance but it was still a nice stay. I would recommend a room higher up though. Parking was easily found at he front of the hotel but is on the road. The walk to the seafront and restaurants was about 5 minutes. Agia Galini was a nice town and some lovely walks. The area was reasonably priced. "
Adonis Hotel ★★
"We stayed here 2 nights and had to leave as jet 2 did nothing to help us. We had to pay out our own pocket to get a decent place to stay .It was absolutely filthy i wouldn’t let a dog sleep on the mattresses! The manager Ben was very rude and told us we had a beautiful room and we were the problem letting it ruin our holiday . Our holiday would have been totally ruined if we had have stayed there ! Also be aware there’s and 8euro fee for the air conditioning every day . Which constantly made a noise . The rooms are so old and dated it was like something from the 1979s . I wouldn’t recommend anyone to here . I certainly wouldn’t sleep on a mattress at home that colour so why would I pay to sleep on one ."
Paralos the Maxine Hotel Adults Only ★★★
"Very nice hotel with exceptional views of the sea and mountains from the rooms and restaurant. The entire hotel has just been renovated, so everything is modern and very clean. Spacious rooms, especially the "maisonette" suites, which have a large living room area with a large balcony terrace and a bedroom on a mezzanine opening onto the living room. Very large bed with very comfortable bedding, everything is new and of high quality. The paint is white, and the rooms are beautifully decorated, modern and understated. Very large glass shower overlooking the living room!! It's unusual, but you get used to it!!! Just like the sink area, which is actually in the hallway!!! Adults only, thankfully!!! Very nice pool area with pool bar. It's very windy, but I would almost say thankfully, otherwise we wouldn't last given the heat. Very good breakfast and dinner. A buffet of raw vegetables and soup, then the main course (which you choose in the morning, 3 choices) is served at your table. Smiling and very friendly staff. A car is essential because it's far from everything. Very nice relaxing holiday at Maxine Hotel."
Galini Mare ★★
"If you like a small charming hotel, perfect located and a very friendly owner, don't look further. Ok, there is a need of painting somewere. The bathroom could use a retrofit. But all you have in the place is much more; stressless, quit place. And the tips to visit the area is for sure an added value."
Lenikos Resort ★★★★
"The accomodation was clean and comfortable the staff friendly and the food excellent. The lady owner said she would "knock something up for us" for our evening meal and produced an absolute feast! The breakfast was excellent too. As a cat lover, I appreciated the colony of cats lurking about who were incredibly friendly and completely gorgeous! The views from the resort were amazing - azure blue sea and stunning mountains."
Creta Star Apartments ★★★
"The rooms are large and well equipped, the bed is comfortable. A paraplus bed is available on request. Functional air conditioning. Only available in car. The village of Agia Galini is located 5 minutes by car."

"Warm welcome and hospitality"
Avra
"This is our 5th visit to Avra. There are steps you need to be aware. However there is nothing else negative to say. The couple running Avra are kind and friendly. We always stay in a room at the top with a sea view. The room is clean, comfy bed, kettle and fridge. Also air conditioning. Shower/shampoo and soap provided, also a hairdryer. It is peaceful but near to town to be accessible (don't forget its hilly!) If you have a big appetite I suggest you order breakfast, it will set you up for the day!! We love it here."
Gioma Hotel
Vrachos Villas
Varkotopi Eco Apts Villas
"We simply loved this Place! Peacful, privat and no overcrowded beaches. The Welcome was extraprdinary with a bottle of wine and raki together with olives and rusk bread and a magnet pin! As we requested a larger pot they brought it to the apartment in only a few later. Highly recommended for those looking for a quote and escluder spot. The Sand Beach is Great but i loved the small pebbles Beach for snorkeling, we even saw a starfish there! Thank you for such a great stay!"
Erofili Rooms
"I stayed five days in this delightful, charming, clean, and comfortable hotel. The colorful décor, the stunning views from the rooms overlooking the sea and the small port of Agia Marina, and the friendly, helpful owners made my stay in this part of Crete even more enjoyable and enjoyable, from which countless towns and beaches can be easily reached."
