One week before departure, be sure to remember to make an appointment with your hotel for pick-up and drop-off to the island. 4. If you plan to have three meals a day, don’t bring food to the island. Most people won’t be able to finish the set meals they provide. 5. There is a Chinese service. Generally, you can use WeChat to enter your requirements in Chinese. 6. Personally, I think there is no need to participate in sea activities. Just stay in the hotel and snorkel on the shore. 7. Regardless of whether it is the official website or Ctrip.com, as long as it is the same room type but cheaper, no matter it is a sunrise room or any description, as long as it is cheaper, the sea view will be blocked by the breakwater. 8. Don’t always live in a water house. The sand house is more convenient. The water house has a better sea view and snorkeling next to the beach is better. But if you are lucky when snorkeling in the water house, you can see the eagle ray. 9. There are only two restaurants for brunch, but there are more choices for dinner, and everything is delicious. 10. You may or may not give a tip for cleaning. The first-class service for parent-child travel is unrivaled. Both the beach house and the water house are good. The water house can go directly down the stairs to participate in snorkeling activities, even if you can't swim, you can stand and enjoy the gifts of nature. The service is really good, the breakfast is average, the food in the Arabic restaurant is surprising, other restaurants are average, the room has been renovated, although it is not particularly big, it is still exquisite. Worth considering for families with children!

very good experience

Aiming for a relaxing 4 night stay, we were totally satisfied - and in fact blown away by the fantastic experience staying here. From meeting at MLE arrivals, and being swept away to the Boxfish seaplane for a beautiful ride to the resort, and then on through a smooth reception experience to our beautiful sunrise water villa. Just amazing. Then the following days were were treated to one of the best four seasons breakfasts, excellent facilities, beautiful beaches and lovely dinners. The spa treatments were excellent and really relaxing. Just the whole experience was best ever level. For example, on day 2 I was planning to do my laundry, so packed some items into the bag, but due to relaxing too much after breakfast I missed teh 11:00 pickup time for same day - and decided to fill in the laundry form teh next day and do it then. However, on returning to the room at about 4pm, I found that the laundry had been done. Very proactive service - fantastic. The room staff took a risk of laundering my clothes without asking, but they made the right call - and made me smile! :-) Brilliant. We had glorious weather. We definitely will be back, and I can fully understand, after decades of luxury holidays, why people come back to FSLG time after time - one person there had been 16 times .... We want to bring our whole family next time.

Truly the most incredible experience my husband and I have ever had in our life. We’ve never been treated so well at a resort and the staff made our experience an incredible once in a lifetime dream vacation. They anticipate your needs before even having them. I have nothing but amazing things to say about the staff, they truly go above and beyond. The rooms and views are impeccable, restaurants have some of the best food I’ve ever had in my life, and the excursions are amazing and fun. The resort takes great pride in taking care of the island, water, ocean life, and supporting local communities, as well as do incredible conservation work. Every single moment we had at the resort was memorable and we can’t wait to go back and would recommend them to everyone we know. Everyone should experience this incredible island and staff who run it!

Overall experience is amazing, special thanks to Zanetta and Shakir for their care during our stay. All staffs here are very nice and friendly. There are many fun activities, and the room environment is very comfortable. Most memorable trip ever!

I have been to Maldives many times to different resorts. This time i decided to choose Landaa Giraavaru even though i prefer resorts close by to male due to easiset transportation by boat. The sea plane transportation was very easy aswell. The island is beautiful especially the side where blue beach bar is. It was the best sunset bar lounge restaurant i have ever been. Its very chill and relax. I stay in both family beach and over water sunset villa. Both is very nice but sunset villa was unbeatable. I spend most of my time in blue beach bar area as its very relaxing and you have beautiful lagoon and sunset view. The food in the resort is not the best but its good enough. Teppenyaki was great! The service overall was beyond my expectation. Everybody is happy and ready to help. I really recommend this resort.

Excellent. We have visited Cheval Blanc, Soneva, as well as a few other 5* in the Maledives, but this one excels in every aspect. There is (IMO) not a single negative aspect about this hotel. The service is immaculate, the staff is top-notch (not artificially, but naturally), the grounds and hotel are well maintained. The breakfast offer everything from dumplings to really good croissants. Highly recommended.

It was our first time on Maldives and we couldnt choose better hotel, time and location. We were surprised with +1h time change, but we’ve got use to it really quickly. We must say big thank you to all people working at the hotel and island, they really take care of you and try their best to make whatever you want - from manager Mo, girls and boys in both restaurant for breakfast and lunch to Awad who cleaned our room. This is how luxuries holiday should be - you really need just relax. Hope to go there soon.

It was our second time on this incredible island and definitely not the last! You feel like you are part of a family! Everyone with their beautiful genuine smiles. From our arrival where we were so warmly greeted and didn’t have to worry about a single thing to the whole stay where all our needs were met. We stayed at a beach villa and it’s perfect. Very private and spacious with lots of outdoor seating and a dining area. Right on the beach with beautiful turquoise water surrounded by tropical foliage. There was also a snorkel trail right in front of our villa so we could have enjoyed amazing underwater world anytime we wanted. Every morning we had our sunbeds ready for another day in paradise. You feel like you have a piece of wonderland for yourself. The food is also a category of its own. From breakfast to dinner it was all so delicious. So many options and lots of fresh fruits. Because of a health problem we had some special needs but we couldn’t have felt more safe. We did a lot of in-room dining and it was always delivered perfectly with a huge smile. For breakfast you can even choose from two places. One is a buffet style and the other one Á la carte. The service is incredible and they go above and beyond. AyurMa Spa is a place with such a calming and healing energy. We did a massage, a ritual and a facial and they were all one of the best treatments we’ve ever experienced. All the staff is so welcoming and professional. You can choose between a water villa and a garden for your treatment. Both are great. Adventures are also top-notch! From snorkeling with manta rays to going on a jet ski to see dolphins and jumping into the ocean from a speedboat in a dress because of a magical encounter with a squadron of mantas. They are so majestic, friendly and some of them were showing off and twisting in front of me. The staff is super nice and takes care of everything so you can just enjoy. We left with memories of a lifetime. And it’s a lot of fun to move around the island on a bike which is prepared for you since your arrival. Our hearts are full and we thank everyone for making our stay so special.
