Great
LLarry OiltThe hotel is about 3 minutes by car from the airport and about 5 minutes from the Mall del Sol. The staff at the reception (and also on the phone before my arrival) has been incredibly friendly and helpful: thank you so much! The room was big, full of light, very clean and comfortable. The free shuttle service from and to the airport is a handy and welcome treat. All in all, great hotel.

GGuest UserThe Radisson is a good hotel for an overnight stop in Guayaquil. It’s only 10 minutes from the airport and they provide a free airport transfer. It has a nice pool, a decent but small gym, and the food in the restaurant is good, as is the service.

RRobert Chuan OoiNot a great location as it’s a bit stranded from restaurants or shops so can’t really go walk about for anything after dark. Other than that it’s quite a run of the mill hotel giving basic amenities and no free water unfortunately.

GGuest UserI stayed at Grand Hotel Guayaquil for 3 days and 2 nights, and honestly, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Check-in was quick and easy, which I appreciated after a long trip. My room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. The bed was super comfy, and the air conditioning was a lifesaver in Guayaquil’s heat! The location was also perfect — just a short walk to the Malecón 2000 and lots of great places to eat and explore. I loved the pool area — such a nice spot to relax in the afternoon. Breakfast was great too, with plenty of choices and some tasty local options. Overall, I had a really pleasant stay here. It’s a great hotel with a warm atmosphere and excellent service.

AAkkarpanExcellent hotel! Only a year old. Clean, good price and a $6 taxi ride from the airport. The malacone is right across the way for morning exercise. The AC was fabulous. I highly recommend this hotel. Great bed. Great pillows. Nice stay for going to the airport.

GGuest UserHotel Review: Hotel Malecón Inn, Guayaquil, Ecuador I recently stayed at Hotel Malecón Inn in the heart of Guayaquil, and here’s my honest experience: Location: ★★★★★ The hotel’s location is its strongest asset. It’s within walking distance to the Malecón 2000, Las Peñas, and many other key tourist attractions. I loved how easy it was to explore the city from here—whether during the day or in the evening. Staff & Service: The staff were friendly and helpful, especially the reception team. They answered questions and offered directions, though English was limited with some. Still, they tried their best to assist, which I appreciated. Cleanliness & Comfort: The rooms were basic but clean. Bed was decent for a night’s sleep. However, some parts of the hotel feel outdated and could use a refresh. If you’re expecting luxury, this might not be the place, but for a practical and affordable stay, it does the job. Wi-Fi & Amenities: Wi-Fi was okay—stronger in common areas than in the rooms. The air conditioning worked, which was crucial in Guayaquil’s heat. Value for Money: If you’re on a budget and want a central, safe place to stay in Guayaquil, Hotel Malecón Inn offers good value. Don’t expect five stars—but do expect convenience and functionality.

GGuest UserThe hotel is located close to the airport and bus station. Taxi drivers know it well. A nighttime ride costs $10. The rooms are decorated in a traditional Ecuadorian style. The rooms are clean and cozy. There is air conditioning. The shower has hot water and necessary toiletries. We want to say a big thank you to Christian, who warmly welcomed us after midnight, helped with our luggage, and in the morning he fed us a delicious breakfast. We recommend this small but cozy and welcoming hotel. The only drawback is that it is impossible to reach the hotel at the number provided after 10 PM.
