L'Aiguille Grive Chalets Hotel
"It was great stay! Very good location, ski in and out , comfortable room, room for the equipment, very good breakfasts , the dinner course was also good , we took once and the menu is good , in other days we ordered form the menu, tasty with options, great helpful staff , willing to help and service with smile. The bar and other facilities were good. The team helps you with the equipment and if you need with special jeep on snow. Julie , Ludivine, Kevin, Tedy , the girls and boys on kitchen and bar , very friendly and helpful. Thank you! Will come back :) Alex"
Hotel l'Alpin
"Lovely little hotel in the beautiful village of Landry. The room was very nice, albeit very hot however the bathroom air vent was thick with dust and needs a good clean. A safe in the room would have been nice as would a second chair on the balcony. Staff were friendly, especially those working in the restaurant in the evening (where the food was excellent). We would return if we came back to Landry."

"From the moment we arrived we were disappointed with the service and quality received. Check in did not occur at 5pm as we were advised. This check in is already late and we had driven quite far and made sure to time it right so it was very frustrating not to be able to check in on time. In addition the help at the counter was nonexistent - every time we asked we were just told it would be "soon". We waited 45 minutes total for our check in as did many others and the reception was so full there was nowhere for the kids to even sit. During our entire stay we had no wifi or TV. We complained several times to the front desk and were told it was difficult to get a signal on the mountain. We checked next door at the hotel and they advised they had no problem. I called the front desk and asked if there was a DVD player to rent, as I had read online, and I was told there was but we had to "come see" if there were any English DVDs because the lady at the front wasn't sure. I mean this was a complete joke. WiFi is listed as an amenity and my husband needed it for work, besides the needs of the kids, it was incredibly inconvenient for him not to have it as advertised. We went to the spa facilities only to find out, when we were all in our bathing suits, that there were no towels available. I have never heard of this in a spa so we went to reception who said they could not provide towels either and we had to go to our room - outside and through the snow - to a different building to get towels. It was absolutely ridiculous. We received a ticket on the last day for parking in a "service" spot when we only parked there to get ready to load our car because we could not get up the road any closer to our chalet because the service vehicles were parking in the road! We spoke to reception and they said there was nothing they could do. It was literally the only place we could park - because the service van was in our way - and then we got a ticket. Needless to say we will never be staying at one of these properties again!"
