The hotel is only a few minutes' walk from the beach and offers a free buggy service, which is very convenient. The breakfast is rich, mainly Malaysian and Western style, and the dining environment is excellent with sea views. Service is top-notch!

Clean rooms and a few amenities nearby. Staff are friendly and always accomodate to your needs. However, need abit improvement for their breakfast as not much varieties. Overall, good stay.

Amazing 5 stars hotel in Chenang beach with 180 degree scenery over beach and mountains, able to watch sunrise n sunset from the room itself...very spacious seaview room with luxury amenities,will definitely come back here again next time!

Our family of three chose a two-bedroom suite, and it was incredibly spacious and comfortable. I highly recommend this place to friends and family visiting Langkawi. The facilities are new, the location is excellent, and it's fully equipped with everything you could need, including a steam oven and all sorts of kitchen utensils, all brand new. The best part is that the staff cleans the dishes for you the next day! The front desk staff during check-in was exceptionally helpful and accommodating; they even allowed us to pay the deposit in USD instead of Malaysian Ringgit. The doormen were always quick to open doors for us when we entered and exited. At checkout, multiple staff members from the lobby came out to bid us farewell, making us feel like cherished friends – it made me incredibly eager to return and visit them again. The staff's high level of professionalism and quality service really impressed me; this hotel is incredibly well-managed, and I felt everyone's smiles and kindness. The location is truly fantastic; you can walk to the commercial street, bars, and restaurants. We just asked how to get to the beach, and a staff member immediately drove us there in a small bus. I was genuinely moved by their staff's dedication.

Bright and vibrant room with a great view! We got mountain view room. Room is spacious and there's a bathtub in the bathroom! Great loaction very near to Pantai Cenang.

Summary - Great apartment for families, decent location, but had a rough first half of the stay (construction noise, power trips, AC issue, breakfast/restaurant stock shortages, spa gripes). Guest relations sorted it out properly and the second half was excellent. Solid 4-star, not 5. We spent 8 nights here with our three kids (11, 7, and 6 months), and overall it was a good trip — but not without some hiccups. First, the good stuff: the apartment was brilliant. Really modern, loads of space, perfect for a family our size. The pool was a great depth for the little ones to splash about, the gym being open 24 hours was handy for early workouts, and the location's a good one. Staff were friendly throughout too. Now the not-so-good bits, which mostly hit us in the first 4 days: There's a big building going up literally 30 metres from the hotel, and it completely blocked our sea view. Worse, the construction noise ran from about 8am to 6pm every day — weekends included, so no escaping it. We also had the electricity trip in our apartment twice, and the aircon in the main room packed in for about an hour at one point. Breakfast was hit and miss — quite a few things out of stock, especially on day one. Then one evening at the restaurant, we went to order wine and two of the bottles we wanted weren't available either. Small thing, but combined with everything else it added up. Over at the spa, one of the treatment rooms had a broken speaker that crackled the whole time — not exactly relaxing. They'd also advertised a 30% discount without mentioning it only applies to treatments between 10am-noon, which felt a bit misleading. By day 4 we'd had enough of the issues piling up and asked about a partial refund, half-thinking about moving hotels for the rest of the trip. We dealt with Nur Farah Ain Jamrin, the guest relations manager. To be honest, our concerns weren't taken quite as seriously as we'd have liked at first — but to her credit, she and the team then went and properly sorted things out. I won't go into what exactly was offered since I think every situation's different and should be judged on its own merits, but the effort was clearly there, and it completely turned things around. The rest of the stay was genuinely excellent. So overall — lovely apartment, good facilities, friendly staff, but a bumpy start with maintenance and stock issues that a 5-star hotel really shouldn't have. The recovery was handled well though. I'd call it a solid 4-star.

The room was spacious, comfortable, and had a simple, refreshing decor. A special shout-out to the hotel breakfast, which was unexpectedly delicious. However, be aware that the hotel's location on Ctrip is inaccurate, which led to us having trouble finding it by taxi and caused some hassle. Also, the tourist tax at the hotel is 20 MYR per day, not 15 MYR.

The hotel's location is convenient, and it's very clean! Free parking is available, and all the staff are friendly and attentive. The only downside is that the hotel doesn't have a washing machine, and the laundry service is quite expensive.

Great location in my opinion. Close to Cenang Beach, but far enough from the hustle and bustle. The room is very good. The bathroom is top-notch, with a bathtub. The hotel's swimming pool is a big plus.

The service was really good. They made special arrangements when they got to know its my baby’s birthday, from the room decor to the goodie bags for my baby. The chef even prepared food for my 1 year old on special request. I loved it all. They even upgraded our room. I would surely recommend it and would love to stay here again when I come to Langkawi. 💕

The RIYAZ Lavanya Langkawi is a stylish, modern hotel near Cenang Beach with strong value for both couples and families. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable, I love the soft bedding, quality pillows and well‑maintained apartments that make for a very restful stay. The rooftop pool, bar and gym come with stunning sunset sea views and are often described as the highlight of the property. Service is generally warm and professional, breakfast also decent and I love the egg stations! Staffs were all friendly and also welcoming! 5/5 stay for a solid 4‑star, not ultra‑luxury, experience.

Had a wonderful stay at Riyaz Lavanya! The team went above and beyond to accommodate birthday and anniversary celebration, which made the experience feel extra special and memorable. The room and especially the bathroom were in pristine condition as everything was spotless and well-maintained. The view was absolutely breathtaking and easily one of the best parts of the stay. Waking up to such a perfect view every day was truly a treat. Breakfast was also enjoyable, with a good variety of options to start the day. The location is excellent as well, making it easy and convenient to get around and explore the area. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and couldn’t have asked for a better stay. If I visit again in the future, I would definitely choose Riyaz Lavanya without hesitation. Highly recommended!

Thank you to the hotel staff for doing their very best to make my stay as perfect as possible. The hotel offers free parking, a nice breakfast, a beautiful rooftop, and one of the best locations in Langkawi. The room was excellent, with one of the best views you could ask for. Most importantly, the staff were wonderful, friendly, and welcoming. They truly made me love the place.
