The Danna Langkawi

We had five nights at The Danna and had a relaxed and comfortable stay. The staff are lovely and so helpful. The resort is beautiful and is located in an amazing beach location. It caters for families and couples alike. There is a great range of restaurants, but prices are more expensive than local dining options. The Danna is quite isolated, but is on the main road to the cable car. Using local ride share such as Grab is super cheap and very available, however the resort caters for everything and you rarely need to leave unless you want to explore the local area.

Great experience, very good service, plenty of delicious options for breakfast and a better buffet dinner compared to the Ritz not far from Danna, big swimming pool also and a very decent “private” beach The room was spacious, clean, a very comfy bed and with a great view!

I had an excellent time at The Danna and highly recommend anyone who is looking for a place to relax and chill in Langkawi. Here are some of the highlights of my stay: - Friendly and smiley staff who attended to all my requests and enquiries. - Beautiful British colonial style architecture and design with spacious hallways, high ceilings and lovely greenery in the centre of the building. There was a lovely lotus pond outside my room which was so delicately nurtured and sustained that it looked like a piece of artwork. - The refreshing and relaxing smell of orchid / lily scattered all around the hotel. - I stayed in the Viceroy Room (King bed) which was very spacious, clean, quiet and consistent with the British colonial architect. There was a terrace in my room which I could enjoy the stunning views of sunrise and sunset every day. I felt highly pampered using the Jo Malone bath amenities! - Amazing Italian food at the Terrace, and nice buffet brunch at Planter’s. Shoutout to the talented pianist Emzac who played impromptu classic Cantonesen jazz every morning - he made me felt home! Although the hotel was located far away from town and the beach side restaurants which could be a bit inconvenient to commute, The Danna is a place where you can spend the entire day relaxing and resting without realising how quickly the time passed by!

Fantastic resort hotel. Their services were excellent right from checked in to checked out. As guests, we felt being served as prestigious guests. They have beautiful backyard and beach. We had enjoyable stay!

The best hotel I have been to in my life, It was a great stay for my honeymoon. Couldn’t have chose a better place.
