Hotel is on the older side. Rooms are spacious, and affordable for 2 connecting rooms. Cleanliness is passable. Flooring, ceilings, skirting, and towels are worn. Breakfast is basic. There aren't really eateries within comfortable walking distance. Langkawi roads not designed for walking - lack of pavements & rather dark at night - fortunately Grab is relatively inexpensive for us.

The room allocated on the first night requires maintenance. We requested for a change the following morning and the staff were extremely attentive and offered us a better room. The general feel of the hotel is clean and peaceful. Customer service is second to none, and we would like to thank Mr Faiz and Ms Qamarina for their professional support and courtesy during our stay. We have no hesitation to recommend this hotel if guests are looking for a calm, peaceful, friendly and clean hotel in Langkawi.

My husband and l were on our getaway to Langkawi and we stayed at HIG Hotel. Obsolutely liked everything about this hotel. From cosy room, good services from all staffs, delicious breakfast, good for shopping. Also the hotel has a very secure and safe enviroment. I highly recommended this hotel this hotel to anyone who visiting Langkawi.
